No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, although the area has previously been targeted by pro-Iranian Iraqi militias. Note, the Islamic Resistance of Iraq recently announced that it would postpone any retaliatory action against Saudi Arabia.

🇷🇺🇸🇾⚡- Syria and Russia have signed a memorandum of understanding outlining the future of Russia’s presence at Hmeimim and Tartous following 18 months of negotiations.

Under the agreement, Syria will gradually take control of civilian facilities, including Hmeimim Airport and parts of Tartous Port, while Russian military installations will be transformed into joint Syrian-Russian training and qualification centers.

The transition is expected to be completed within three months.

🇮🇱⚡- BREAKING: Officials from one Middle Eastern country privately advised another regional state to pursue an agreement with Israel as a tactical measure rather than a genuine peace arrangement. The vessel was boarded by the MCG in the Strait of Malacca. The identity of the vessel and the origin of its cargo remains unknown.

The vessel had recently called at Malaysia's Port of Tanjung Pelepas as a temporary transit stop. Malaysia's Border Control and Protection Agency said that preliminary checks indicate the shipment violates Malaysian laws prohibiting direct or indirect exports to Israel.
