🇾🇪⚡- Overnight, Ansarullah forces launched one of their largest assaults on the southern al-Hodeidah front in years, attempting to capture Jebel (Mt.) Dabbas, a strategically important ridgeline held by the pro-Hadi Yemeni National Resistance Forces (NRF).

The battle lasted nearly 12 hours and marked the second major clash between pro al-Houthi forces and NRF in the area within a matter of weeks. Supported by artillery and mortar fire, al-Houthi backed forces launched repeated attacks in an effort to seize the high ground but were ultimately repelled after suffering heavy losses. Jebel Dabbas remains under NRF control. The fighting comes amid rising tensions across Yemen, as large-scale mobilization is seen on both sides of the line of contact.

🇺🇸⚡️- Rumors are circulating that more damaging news stories about DSA aligned Senate candidate Graham Platner are going to be dropped this week by Democrat Party operatives who want Platner to drop out of the race in favor of a non-DSA candidate.

Platner has unexpectedly cancelled some campaign events today as well.

🇺🇸⚡️- GOP Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna says that the House Oversight Committee will investigate Patriot Front following the July 4th march, claiming the Biden Admin never went after the group.

The Biden Admin and various states have in fact investigated and charged Patriot front in recent years via civil litigation.

Patriot Front was forced to settle lawsuits on various occasions. In 2024 alone the group settled suits including an incident in Richmond Virginia where they were threatened with the KKK Act of 1871 for vandalizing a civil rights mural which they had to pay $470,000.

Patriot Front also settled a major suit in Boston where they had to hand over $2.75 million to a black musician that was allegedly harmed by a rally, again using the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871.

🇺🇸⚡️- Microsoft lays off 2.1% of its global workforce, about 4800 workers. The largest department hit is Xbox, with around 1600 layoffs.

🇺🇸🇯🇵⚡️- Pokémon Go launched 10 years ago today in the US causing a 2nd "Pokemania" craze similar to the franchises initial launch in the late 90s.

Just 1 week later on July 14th, Hillary Clinton would drop the infamous "Pokemon Go to the polls" quip at a campaign rally.

🇺🇸🇯🇵⚡️- A bit lost to history overshadowed by the Clinton line, Donald Trump's 2016 campaign posted this response video the same day on Facebook.

🇨🇺⚡- The failed regime of Cuba's national electric grid has completely collapsed, leaving 10+ million without power.

State-run operators, UNE, says it's investigating the cause of the blackout.

🇺🇸⚡️- Former Clinton Campaign strategist Michael Trujillo further hints at the Platner story dropping soon.

🇺🇸⚡️- Jenny Racicot, a 41 year old Maine resident and former girlfriend of Platner, has accused him of raping her during their relationship 5 years ago.

Racicot claims that Platner barged into her home drunk one night and forcefully raped her in 2021.

🇺🇸⚡️- Platner has released a video denying the allegations but saying "we're taking the time to reflect on the best path forward" on the future of his campaign.

Should be noted that Platner is the only White male DSA candidate running for Congress. If he drops out every single DSA elected official in Congress will be an immigrant or a child of immigrants.

🇺🇸🇹🇷⚡️- Hasan Piker, a major supporter of Platner, says on his stream that he believes the allegations.

🇺🇸⚡️- The accuser details behavior of Platner grabbing her pelvis and “being really forceful.”

“I remember the specific moment where I thought to myself, like, ‘This is no longer my choice,’” she recollected.

🇺🇸⚡️- Ro Khanna and Ruben Gallego have withdrawn their endorsements of Platner. More Democrats are expected to denounce him until he drops out.

🇺🇸⚡️- The Prosecution in the Tyler Robinson trial have full video of him approaching campus, entering the building, climbing onto the roof, and shooting Charlie Kirk before fleeing the scene.

The surveillance footage hasn't been released to the public as of yet.

🇺🇸⚡️- The Maine Democratic Party leadership is calling on Graham Platner to withdraw as the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate.

🇺🇸⚡️- The accuser states that after being raped by Platner, she went to “clean herself up,” and upon returning, found Platner asleep, but didn’t want to kick him out because she was “worried he could hurt someone driving in the state he was in,” per Politico.

🇺🇸⚡️- Graham Platner’s accuser said she delayed coming forward because she experienced what she described as a “huge moral conflict” between “supporting his politics, but not supporting him as a person.”
