⚡️🇧🇭The Bahraini Islamic Society for National Reconciliation accused the Bahraini authorities of targeting the Shia community, claiming the “arrest of dozens of senior scholars and religious figures” in what it described as a “provocative and dangerous escalation,” according to its statement.

It said more than 40 Shia clerics were detained in recent hours and alleged ongoing arrests of religious figures.

👥 The group also accused the authorities of broader violations including arrests, citizenship revocations and marginalization measures against Shia citizens, while calling for international intervention and warning of further escalation.
