🇺🇸🇵🇪 - The Peruvian air force contract to acquire twelve F-16s has reportedly expanded to now 24 F-16 Block 70 aircraft, as well as a refurbished KC-135 aerial refueling aircraft, marking a significant capabilities upgrade to its existing air force.

The F-16s will fully replace Peru's current fleet of eleven French Dassault Mirage 2000 and six Russian MiG-29s. The KC-135 will serve as Peru's first large aerial refueler.
