🇺🇸⚡️- The US Department of Justice has arrested a US Special Forces soldier who took part in the Venezuela raid which captured former President Maduro, that allegedly placed a bet of $30,000 on Polymarket for Maduro's removal.

The soldier placed "yes" bets on the following “U.S. Forces in Venezuela . . . by January 31, 2026”; “Maduro out by . . . January 31, 2026”; “Will the U.S. invade Venezuela by . . . January 31,”; or “Trump invokes War Powers against Venezuela by . . . January 31.”, and made a total gain of $409,000.

His charges are unlawful use of confidential government information for personal gain, theft of nonpublic government information, commodities fraud, wire fraud, and making an unlawful monetary transaction.

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️- "Overnight, pursuant to a seizure warrant submitted by my office and signed by a federal magistrate, U.S. forces interdicted the dark fleet vessel, M/T Majestic (formerly known as the M/T Phonix), while carrying approximately 1.9 million barrels of Iranian oil in the Indian Ocean. Earlier this week, U.S. forces similarly seized the M/T Tifani based on one of our seizure warrants. It too was laden with approximately 1.9 million barrels of Iranian oil.

🇺🇸⚡️- The special forces official is Army Master Sgt. Gannon Ken Van Dyke. Van Dyke was a communications specialist supporting Joint Special Operations Command, the unit that oversees Tier 1 special mission units such as Delta Force and SEAL Team Six, per CBS News.

🇱🇧🇮🇱⚡️- "Since the ceasefire understanding took effect, IDF forces continue to operate in southern Lebanon and serve as a protective shield for the residents of the north. The forces are working to clear the area of terrorists and destroy all the infrastructures of the Hezbollah terror organization in the area.

So far, the fighters have located many weapons and, in cooperation with the Air Force, eliminated more than 25 terrorists who posed a threat to IDF forces in the area.

Alongside the forces on the ground, the Air Force has carried out about 50 strikes against terrorists and terror infrastructures." - Israeli Defence Force.

🇺🇸🇷🇺 - "All G20 members will be invited to attend ministerial meetings and the leaders' summit," an official from the Trump administration has stated.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has not made a decision yet on whether he will attend the summit which will be hosted in Miami this year.

🇺🇸⚡️- An eighteen-year-old girl and a sixteen-year-old have been arrested for plotting a terrorist attack on a Houston, Texas synagogue.

According to the District Court Judge, their plan was to "kill as many Jews as possible by driving through a congregation at a synagogue".

🇺🇸🇮🇶⚡️- The US State Department is offering a reward of up to $10 million for information on Abu Ala al-Wala'i, the leader of Kata'ib Sayyid ul-Shuhada group, an Iran-aligned group that is responsible for attacks on US facilities and personnel in Iraq and Syria.

🇮🇷🇦🇪🇶🇦 - Flightradar24 reports that Emirates, a state-owned airline of the United Arab Emirates, has reached almost 80% of pre-war flight capacity.

The lowest airlines are FlyDubai and Qatar Airways, owned by the UAE and Qatar, respectively, and have returned to just above 50% of prewar capacity.

Kuwait and Bahrain still have heavy airspace and airport closures and are therefore not included in these statistics.

🇬🇧🇮🇱⚡️- The Guardian reports The United Kingdom Foreign Office unit that was responsible for tracking Israeli breaches of international law in Gaza and Lebanon has been closed due to "budget cuts".

The unit has a database of 26,000 verified incidents within the middle east, and is considered to be the largest database of its kind.

These options include;
- Suspending Spain from NATO alliance.
- Reassessing US diplomatic support for European "imperial possessions," to include Britain's claim to the Falkland Islands near Argentina
- Suspending "difficult" countries from important or prestigious positions at NATO
- No option to close U.S. bases in the email
- No option for withdrawing U.S. from the alliance in the email

🇺🇸🇮🇷🇮🇱⚡️- According to Israeli media Maariv, the Israeli Defence Force assessment is that the question of the Iran war is not if, but when and how the war will continue.

Also stating that President Trump's changing and erratic statements are confusing Israeli military officers with Trump's intended direction.

🇱🇧🇮🇱⚡️- Reports of an Israeli strike against Khirbet Selm, southern Lebanon.

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡- The US is considering assassination strikes against specific Iranian leaders who are thought to be blocking US-Iran negotiations, CNN reports. The list of names include Ahmad Vahidi, Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC.

🇱🇧🇮🇱⚡️- 45 IDF soldiers have been wounded in southern Lebanon over the past 48 hours, according to the Israeli army.

🇱🇧🇮🇱⚡️- "The Air Force struck military structures in the Khirbet Salam and Tulin areas in southern Lebanon, which were used by the Hezbollah terror organization to advance terror plots against IDF forces and the State of Israel.

The strikes were carried out in response to the rocket fire launched by the Hezbollah terror organization toward the Shlomi area last night.

The IDF will continue to act with determination against threats directed at the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces, and is operating in accordance with the directives of the political echelon." - Israeli Defence Force.

🇸🇦🇦🇪⚡- Senior Emirati officials have caused a frenzy in the Saudi media after several Emirati officials posted unofficial UAE maps, which include Saudi's Eastern Quarter regional territory, in what is likely a reignition of the long standing Saudi-UAE border dispute.

Disputes arose in the mid-40s after Saudi Arabia led incursions into the oil-rich areas of the Buraimi Oasis, but were later expelled by the British-controlled Trucial Oman Levies. In the 70s, Riyadh and Abu Dhabi reached an 'agreement' where Saudi Arabia would recognize its new Emirati neighbour and drop territorial claims over Oman's oil-rich al-Buraimi region. Saudi troops would also withdraw from the few towns still under their control along the old British-drawn Riyadh - Abu Dhabi line. In return, the UAE would hand control over the Shaybah fields to the Saudi Kingdom, but more importantly, the vital land corridor, Khor al-Adaid, which cut the UAE from Qatar would also fall to Riyadh control. The UAE does not recognize the agreement, and has never been ratified by Abu Dhabi.
