This shooting follows a trend of young, nihilistic individuals coalescing on social media platforms, looking to commit anti-social violence in grand, shocking, and proactive manners. Therefore, they seek to emulate past shootings that claimed large numbers of lives, along with the individuals honoring and revering past shooters, such as this recent shooting. In addition, the individuals attach themselves to what may be transgressive or offensive to society, like wearing Nazi iconography or writing various nihilistic messages on their weaponry. The shooting is supposed to be these individuals’ final act against society, in a psychopathic and sensational manner.

🇳🇬⚡️- Six people have been charged in Nigeria for an attempted coup d'état. Among those charged is a retired Army major general, a retired naval caption, a serving police inspector and the former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources.

The charges allege they "conspired with one another to levy war against the state to overawe the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria".

Lai Ching-te has said the air space permission was denied due to pressure from China.

🇮🇷 - Scam messages have been sent to some shipping companies, claiming to offer safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz for a crypto payment, according to Marisks, a maritime security agency.

These messages were not sent by Iran. Marisks believes that one of the vessels that believed they had clearance to pass the Strait, which was later fired upon by Iran, was a victim of this Scam.
