🇺🇸- The Aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower had a small fire yesterday while docked at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Virginia, for maintenance.

Three Navy sailors were injured in the small fire, which was quickly extinguished by the crew. All three sailors were treated on site and returned to full duty. The source of the fire is under investigation.

The carrier is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance and upgrades after a 9-month deployment to the Red Sea, where it was one of the carrier groups taking part in the United States–Houthi conflict in 2024.
