🇮🇷🇱🇧🇮🇱 - Israel's Iran-Hezbollah Defence Overview (Feb 28 – Apr 16)

Over the course of the last 60 days of the Israel-Iran-Hezbollah war, the Israeli Home Front Command activated 9,293 red alerts within Israeli territory, due to incoming threats from Iran, Hezbollah, and the Houthis.

Over the 60-day period, this means that an average of 155 alerts per day, 6.45 alerts per hour, or one alert every 9 minutes and 17 seconds on average.

For Comparison, during the Israel-Iran 12-day war, Israel had 1,430 alerts or one every 12 minutes and 5 seconds, representing a 23% increase in alert frequency.

6,620 alerts were activated due to rocket alerts, while it's not possible for us to accurately identify each actor's individual contribution to rocket alerts, 6,216 alerts were activated by the ceasefire, with 404 rocket alerts being activated by Hezbollah after the Iran ceasefire began.

2669 alerts were activated for hostile drone intrusions, almost entirely the work of Hezbollah in northern Israel, with a few from the Houthis.

Once the ceasefire deal with Iran was signed, the total count of red alerts between April 8th and 16th was 748, meaning 3.46 per hour, or one every 17 minutes and 19 seconds, representing a 46.5% decrease in alert frequency once Iran exited the fight, many of these alerts are much smaller in size and scale, as clearly seen in the video.

Alerts were a lot more frequent in the night, and early into the morning, with the attackers having midday lunch breaks. The times between 6pm and 4am are seeing almost twice as many alerts per hour when compared to 9am to 2pm.
