🇮🇱⚡- BREAKING: Agudat Yisrael coalition has withdrawn from the Likud-bloc coalition!

The party has four seats in the Knesset.

🇮🇱 - Over the past few months, Likud has lost 13 seats in the Knesset:

- Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu (6 seats),
- Goldknopf's Yahadut HaTora (3 seats),
- Gafni's Degel HaTorah (4 seats).

Yahadut HaTora and Degel HaTora are part of the Agudat Yisrael mini-coalition. While Goldknopf resigned in mid June, Gafni left today.

This has split the 120-seat Knesset evenly, 60-60.

🇮🇱 - The only remaining Haredi party in the Likud-bloc coalition are the Shas, led by Aryeh Deri, a lifelong Netanyahu ally. The party controls a huge 11 seats in the Knesset, and with Edelstein not budging over the conscription law, it's likely the Shas may also withdraw.

Smotrich's Mafdal (7 seats) and Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit (6 seats) have been threatening to resign if an unfavorable hostage-ceasefire deal is signed.

Regardless, any additional withdrawals from the Likud-bloc will put the coalition in minority in the Knesset.

🇮🇱 - The moment Moshe Gafni arrived at the Knesset to submit his party Degel HaTorah's resignation earlier.

The Arab Tribal Army, ATA, along with the Syrian government forces, have advanced into the western and northwestern outskirts of As Suwaida city.

However, the situation on the ground appears much more complicated. While ATA have advanced into the city itself, they rely on a single supply route, via the Rakham - Ad Darah highway, which will severely limit ATA's offensive capabilities within the Druze faction (SMC) strongholds.

Although, in recent hours the ATA have begun expanding its area of control, attempting to seize Jbeb highway by attacking Kanakir, and Route 109 by attacking Rimat Hazm. For SMC, it's vital Kanakir holds and does not fall into ATA control.

Israel continues bombarding ATA and Syrian government troop concentrations in eastern Daraa and western As Suwaida.
