๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ท๐ฎ๐ฑโก๏ธ- Trump says the US will strike Iran again if it resumes its nuclear program.

๐ฎ๐ท๐ฎ๐ฑ - Many of you have been asking for our opinion on "who won" the Iran-Israel showdown.
Here's admin's opinion: Nobody won.
Iran clearly didn't lose all or even a significant amount of critical assets for its nuclear program, despite US intervention. However, Iran didn't inflict permanent, serious, or lasting damage on Israel in their missile retaliations.
Israel hasn't sustained serious material losses, besides numerous battered buildings in population centers, depletion of their munitions, and the death of a few dozen civilians. However, Israel was clearly unable to achieve all of their objectives in Iran. While they did inflict significantly more damage in terms of casualties and material loss to Iran, it's something Iran can easily recover from.
While this was clearly a miserable stalemate, we don't think this is over. This "ceasefire" that Trump has been gloating about appears more temporary than lasting. Israel was unable to spur regime change in Iran, they were unable to dismantle Iran's nuclear program (even with American assistance) and Israel was unable to seriously limit Iran's military capabilities.
Israel will not stop until Iran's regime is overthrown. Unfortunately, they will need the US to assist them. More than anything, this "12 Day War" seemed more like a "dress rehearsal" for Israel's ultimate objectives in Iran. Time will tell if our assessment is correct.

๐ฎ๐ท๐ฎ๐ฑ - One thing that Admin did observe throughout the course of the conflict was the gradual decrease in missile volume. In other words, as the fighting carried on, Iran was firing fewer and fewer missiles at Israel as the ceasefire inched closer.
The first day Iran retaliated, approximately 150-250 ballistic missiles were fired at Israel, and it caused serious damage, most notably striking the "Kirya" complex, the headquarters of the Israeli Ministry of Defense. As time went on, however, Iran was firing fewer and fewer missiles daily, sometimes only ~10-20 missiles a day.
This decrease can attributed to one of two things:
1) Iran calibrated its missile activity to be proportional to Israeli strikes, or
2) Israel's attacks on Iranian missile launchers was effective, forcing Iran to fire fewer and fewer missiles, despite having a large inventory.
At this time, it's difficult to say which is correct. However, if Iran sustained losses to launchers throughout the course of the conflict, their primary means of deterring Israel from striking may be withering. If Israel can take out Iran's retaliatory capabilities in a sustained air war, Iran will not be able to retaliate against Israel.
Again, this is speculative.

๐ฎ๐ท๐ฎ๐ฑ - An Iranian source has told us this:
"At the beginning of the war, Israel killed almost all of the Iranian generals and commanders. The Iranian people expected even more [losses] from the war with Israel. Both Iran and Israel suffered major blows, and the Iranian people expected it. The subsequent Israeli strikes were milder. In addition, the missiles that Iran fired in the final days were more advanced, and Iran tried to economize their usage."
We try to avoid favoring one side or the other, but this assessment is quite accurate.
