🇷🇺🇰🇷⚡️- Samsung Heavy Industries has officially scrapped its deal with Russia’s Zvezda shipyard to build 15 icebreaking LNG carriers for the Arctic LNG 2 project. Sanctions froze the work, and after legal wrangling and canceled contracts, Samsung now plans to sue for damages. Russia still needs a fleet of ice-class LNG ships.

🇺🇸🇵🇦🇨🇳⚡️- COSCO is in talks to join a consortium looking to buy Li Ka-shing’s 43 ports, including two key ports on the Panama Canal. The deal, which is led by MSC’s Terminal Investment and backed by BlackRock, could be worth over $19 billion. Beijing has strongly opposed the sale since it is against their interests. It is hoped that including a Chinese state-backed firm like COSCO will help push the deal along. If finalized, the deal would make MSC the largest terminal operator in the world. Negotiations are still underway, with a deadline approaching in late July.

An Iranian ballistic missile targeted the city, apparently debris / the missile itself impacted and damaged several apartment buildings in the city.

🇮🇷🇮🇱 - Negev Advanced Technologies Park, a Unit 8200 affiliate and believed to host a manufacturer of loitering drones used in Israeli assassination strikes, sustained damage in the Iranian ballistic missile attack.

The IRGC claims that this was the target of the ballistic missile attack.
