🇨🇳⚡️ - Chinese officials are claiming a "flying object" has been spotted above the port city of Qingdao, and that the PLA is preparing to shoot it down.

While it would be possible to launch a balloon from the West Coast and let the prevailing winds in the Pacific carry it towards China, we haven't yet seen any claims from Beijing that that happened. If China does want to stoke anti-American sentiment among its populace, it's passed up this opportunity to do that.
