Two separate developments can be seen along the south coast, likely also radar sites - Rerum Novarum have geolocated both sites to: 27.864164, 51.612287 (south of Shiraz) and 38.756697, 44.955930 (east of Bandar Abbas).

The site south of Shiraz is likely an impressive fifth generation OTH Radar base. The new class are more powerful than the Ghadir, using larger and more numerous masts.

The three new sites are mapped as red crosses, along with the locations of the existing 8 sites.
