🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️- Classical liberal speaker Jordan Peterson called for the West to “overthrow the Iranian government” on his podcast yesterday, saying that “The West needs to get its act together.”

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡️- Explosions in Kupyansk, controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU).

🇩🇪⚡️ - The Bundeswehr (German army) has been calling up members of its reserves for training. German commentators have speculated that this may be because of a planned German intervention in the Ukraine war.

🇺🇸⚡️- Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez has said that “removing Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee is racism against women of color”

🇺🇸⚡️ - In similar news, a bomb threat was called into a venue at the University of Florida where Dalton Clodfelter and Tyler Russell were set to speak.

🇷🇸🇽🇰⚡️ - National Patrol, a Serbian nationalist organization, has called for protests on February 15 against the ruling Progressive Party and Alexander Vucic.

Serbian nationalists see Vucic as having betrayed Kosovo Serbs by his failure to launch a military operation in the province last December, and have expressed their fears he will submit to Germany's demands and recognize the so-called state of Kosovo in exchange for EU membership and some measure of autonomy for Serbs within Kosovo and Metohija.

🇷🇸🇽🇰 - It's worth noting that this is by no means the first time Serbian nationalists have spoken out against Vucic - during the Kosovo crisis last year groups like Bunt je Stanje Duha and Obraz were often dismissive of Vucic and the Progressive Party. However, this is the first time they have actually called for protests against his government, marking a significant escalation in the tensions between them.

🇷🇸🇽🇰 - In general, it's fair to say that there are two different factions within Serbian politics (excluding Soros-backed liberals, who for the moment are irrelevant).

There are people like Vucic, who believe that Kosovo is Serbia and see Serbs in Republika Srpska and Croatia as brothers, but are willing to work with the West and the EU, don't see reclaiming Kosovo and Metohija militarily as a priority and would, perhaps, be willing to accept "Kosovar" independence in exchange for autonomy for Serbs there. Then there are people like National Patrol, who are openly pro-Russian, want a Greater Serbia, are opposed to any Western influence within the country (as we saw with Europride in Belgrade last year) and see anything less than a reintegration of Kosovo within Serbia as a betrayal.

For the last few years both of those groups have been willing to cooperate. It remains to see if that cooperation will continue - if it doesn't, the protests on the 15th will probably be cited as the moment when it stopped.
