🇷🇺🇺🇦 - It has been 5 months since Ukraine launched its ambitious Kursk military operation.

Ukraine currently controls 427.5 sqkm of Kursk, while Russia has recaptured 683 sqkm of area.

In the same time of 5 months, Russia has captured:
311 sqkm in the Kupyansk-Borova direction;
174 sqkm in the Limen-Sivers'k direction;
54 sqkm in the Chasov-Yar direction;
554 sqkm in the Toretsk-Pokrovsk direction;
1661 sqkm in the Kurakhovo-Velikaya Novoselka direction and
80 sqkm in the Gulyaipoloe-Orekhov direction.

In total, Russian forces have captured 3517 sqkm (including recaptured Kursk territory), which is over 8 times more than what Ukraine currently holds in Kursk (427.5 sqkm).

Some of the fronts in the Donbass region had not moved for two years up until the Kursk operation began, however, the Ukrainian authorities are still adamant the Kursk operation did not affect the front elsewhere.
