Israeli forces captured two villages south of El-Malgah. The IDF also captured Jamlah, but more importantly the large heights of Marbah, on the border with Jordan. The Marbah strategic heights, which were captured without firing a single shot, are impossible for Syria to reclaim militarily, without losing a vast number of troops. The only way for Syria to regain these heights are if the IDF voluntarily leaves.

"My departure from Syria was not planned and did not occur in the final hours of the fighting as they claimed.

I remained in Damascus, fulfilling my duties until the early hours of Sunday. When the terrorist forces entered Damascus, I moved to Latakia in coordination with the Russians to oversee the fighting.

Upon arrival at the Russian base that morning, it became clear that our forces had completely retreated and that the last army positions had fallen.

Russia requested that the base organize an immediate evacuation. This occurred the day after the fall of Damascus, following the collapse of military positions and the resulting paralysis of all remaining state institutions."
