🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡- Russian forces have counterattacked and pushed Ukrainians almost completely out of Kursk in the Veseloe direction.

Russian forces have recaptured the southern half of Veseloe, Obukhovka, Obod, Volfino, Krasnooktyabrskiy, Komcomolskoe, Medvezhe and Politotdelskiy.

Russian troops have also captured Novyy Put, however a small Ukrainian resistance remains south of the Korenevo railway line.

The total area Ukrainian forces control in this area of Kursk is 0.6 sqkm.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡- The Russian counteroffensive in the Kursk region continues.

In the northern Kursk direction, Russian forces have recaptured Nizhniy Klin and Novoivanovka. Russian troops have already entered the first few houses of Leonidovo. Just south, Russian forces advanced to the north of Sverdilovka - it's possible Russia may perform a pincer on this town while having already entered from the south a month ago. Fighting has been ongoing in Sverdilovka for over a month now, without much success for the Russian troops.

In the southern Kursk direction, the situation for the Ukrainians has deteriorated sharply. Russian forces have recaptured Russkaya Konopelka and Cherkasskaya Konopelka. More importantly, Russian troops have managed to enter Mikhailovka, a vital town for the Ukrainian defense to hold the city of Sudzha. A loss in Mikhailovka would be catastrophic for the Ukrainians.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 - Russia's counteroffensive in the Kursk region: Russia has recaptured 519.8 sqkm of area. Ukraine still holds 559.3 sqkm (including Otruba in the Tetkino direction).

Without further reinforcements, the situation for the Ukrainians in Kursk can become very critical.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡- Russian front-line sources say the Ukrainians are beginning to panic and have begun to build heavy defenses, including trenches and dugouts around the city of Sudzha, in the Kursk region.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡- Unconfirmed reports are coming from the front-line just now, Russian forces may have broken through Ukraine's Sudzha defense line - fighting is ongoing inside of Makhnovka, Kursk region of Russia.

This comes just after Russian forces recaptured Cherkasskaya Konopelka. Makhnovka is just 2km from Sudzha.
