Republicans should refuse to vote for oil sanctions on Russia unless Joe Biden agrees to lift his sanctions on America's oil and gas producers.
America's oil and natural gas industry can meet the demands of U.S. consumers. But since taking office, the Biden administration has been working overtime to crush American producers and suppliers. Pipelines have been canceled. Federal lands have been made off-limits. Regulatory roadblocks have been thrown up in nearly every agency. And, punitive taxes on the domestic oil and gas industry have been proposed.
Instead of turning to American producers during this crisis, the Biden administration is negotiating with America's rivals, including begging dictators, for more oil and gas. It's a disgraceful "America Last" approach that hurts Americans, especially working-class people.
