Communists claim they are fighting a system that exploits workers.

But communism exploits the workers too.

It exploits their pain, envy, resentment, hatred, and anger, then rides those impulses to power on their backs.

It does not liberate them.

It selfishly uses them.

Communism does not begin by fixing poverty.

It begins by explaining your misery in the most spiritually destructive way possible:

Your neighbor has what you deserve.

And you must revolt against him.

Historians say D.C. was built on a swamp. Watching the Mitch McConnell situation, it’s hard to argue it ever stopped being one.

The ugliest part of the McConnell situation is how many people around these politicians know the truth and say nothing.

Because in Swamp, love of power always comes before love of the voters.

This is not a left-right issue.

The Founders did not design a republic to be run by unelected staff protecting incapacitated incumbents.

That we even have to have the McConnell discussion shows how far gone the system is.

I disagree with it, but I understand why some people want McConnell to stay for raw political reasons.

But don’t insult everyone’s intelligence by dressing it up as principle.

Just own it for what it is: Machiavellian politics.
