Hybrid Modules is a three-part lecture series on how to design digital musical devices that combine analog and digital components:
1. Basics of Digital Module Circuitry — November 6, 2025
2. Principles of Software Architecture Programming — November 13, 2025
3. Designing Wavetable Oscillators and Samplers — November 20, 2025
The first lecture, “Basics of Digital Module Circuitry,” will cover:
— Audio and CV (Control Voltage) input/output
— User interface: buttons, encoders, LED indicators
— Choosing a microcontroller for your module
— DSP Spin FV-1: capabilities and limitations
— practical experience of Keen Association

October 18 Ray State presents Ray State Wave — live performances and audiovisual experiments at the intersection of analog sound, synthesis, and performative forms.
AGAVA
A live electronic music project by Levan Shanshiashvili. Together with Shota, they will perform an improvised analog set — no computers, no presets, no rehearsals.
Glitch Aria
An opera singer and a noise artist improvise together, creating unexpected sonic combinations. Resonances, glitches, harmonies, and a distorted aria pulsing through live sound.
Leo Keane
An electronic musician creating raw, physical sound with hardware instruments. His music balances precision and chaos, mechanical rhythm and human energy.
Medicinal
Corrosive and heavy electronics with narrative force. Tactile, archaic, and novel sounds merge to evoke inner imagery and raw emotion.
Ed Berens
Explores how traditional instruments and analog synthesizers can sound together. His set combines live ritual sound, industrial electronics, and Quray — a device that turns movement into sound.
Christian Gorsky
Video artist and live performer exploring the boundary between sound and image. His audio-reactive visuals turn technology into a living material, where sound and light flow as one.
Lena Bedareva
New media artist Lena will present an immersive installation: The Hollow You Filled
VLDSK
Digital artist VLDSK will be presenting audio-reactive visuals throughout the event.
