Recommendation request: Series which centers on or includes helping hoarders clean up their homes and/or manage their mental health.

My foster child, 10, was removed from her family largely due to unhealthy hoarding conditions and neglect. I'm hoping a PG documentary movie or series can help her think critically about her circumstances and foster understanding and compassion for her family.

And also motivate her to pick up after herself!

Edit: Everyone's hearts are in the right place. Please note, I did not meet this child yesterday; she has been in my home almost two years. I am in regular contact with her caseworker and therapists, and am intimately familiar with her personality, emotional makeup, and developmental capacity for difficult topics. This idea is just one of the latest in a string of strategies to help her to approach her trauma indirectly.

Recommendation request: interesting, lighthearted, easy watching documentaries, especially natural world or crafting related

I am a big fan of nature documentaries, or any topic that is relatively interesting and lighthearted. Knitting, tiny house building, bird watching, etc. I have watched many of the nature docs on Hulu/Netflix, though I know this sub is mostly free documentaries so I’m hoping for additional recommendations. I feel like there are so many documentaries with murder, true crime, things like that, but I like something easy and interesting for while I knit.

I have also recently learned about SlowTV from Norway which interests me if that is of any help.

Any recommendations ?

Recommendation Request: Help Finding Specific Vietnam Documentary

Hello,

I'm trying to remember a Vietnam feature documentary that's about someone going back to Vietnam and making a personal video diary. I remember a lot of reflection and shots from trains. I forget if it's the actual person that served in Vietnam or their son/daughter. I believe it came out in the late 90's or early 2000's. It was mostly current day footage (of the time) and about them exploring the spaces that battles and past trauma happened.

Appreciate the help!

Thank you.
