A general rule of thumb is eat all the colors of the rainbow in fruits and vegetables a day to get the full spectrum of nutrients. The darker the colors the more antioxidants they contain. Different colors of even the same produce contain different vitamins.
Here is a short summary of colors and nutrients:
Red:
Lycopene, ellagic acid, Quercetin, and Hesperidin
Orange & Yellow:
Beta-carotene, zeaxanthin, flavonoids, lycopene, potassium, and vitamin C
Green:
Chlorophyll, fiber, lutein, zeaxanthin, calcium, folate, vitamin C, calcium, and Beta-carotene.
Blue and Purple:
Lutein, zeaxanthin, resveratrol, vitamin C, fiber, flavonoids, ellagic acid, and quercetin
White:
Beta-glucans, EGCG, SDG, and lignans
What are antioxidants? A lot of people have no idea what they are and what they do. To put it simply, antioxidants deter or neutralize oxidation in the digestive system and cells of the body. Antioxidants are basically pigmented cells in the fruits and vegetables that absorbs oxidizing chemicals in the body's digestive tract. This is why when you eat a good amount of dark colored things, your urine or feces can actually turn different colors depending on what you ate. This is a good thing. Oxidation of your cells leads to damage of the cell walls and increases inflammation (swelling during the healing process) which can do much more harm than good. Dark berries such as blueberries, blackberries, acai and others have some of the most antioxidants due to their rich dark pigments in the fruit fiber.

Suggestion:
Start testing your equipment.
Hang your hammock from a tree, make sure you familiarize yourself with what types of trees can support it, how much weight it can hold, and practice taking it down in a rush.
Go for a few rucks in full kit, including body armor etc. You may rethink some decisions you've made deciding weight etc.
Break in your boots, make sure you're comfortable in them and they're the right type for your foot.
Practice cooking on your camp stove with your mess kit, to ensure it is usable for the purposes you desire.
Sample your prep foods, buy accessory items such as canned meats, dried fruits, and bullion/seasoning flavors to make it more palatable for morale.
Learn basic takedown procedures, maintenance, and common failure points in your chosen firearms, try to have a few extra parts such as bolts and springs in your stockpile.
Whatever advice anyone gives you, the best situation/ gear is what you are familiar with and know how to use.
Personally, I'd go to war with a seasoned marksman who has experienced combat armed with a .22lr than a moron armed with the latest H&K black-scary-rifle

How to read a tape measure!
Okay guys, this is a very simple and practical skill that a lot of young people today cannot do and are too embarrassed to ask. As you see in the picture below there are 16 marks in between each inch. the shortest mark is a 16th, the next tallest a 8th, then a 4th, next a half. 16th, 8th, quarter, half.
It's vital you learn how to say these measurements. For instance, The blue mark is "five and one eighth." For example, you should never say "five point five inches" it is "five and a half inches."
Similarly, the orange mark is "six and a quarter inches" not "six and three fourths"
however, with green it would be "six and one sixteenth" (16th) and if it were one notch over it would be "six and one eighth"

The importance of it because all the illness from the lack of sanitation which historically killed more people after disasters than any crime.
Short Term
-Modify your own bathroom, you can still use your toilet but first you need to shut off the water valve behind the toilet, remove the water of the toiler container (this water is safe to use btw) and from the toilet bowl. Then you can double line the toilet bowl with a heavy duty garbage bag, use detailed in the video.
-Disaster Toilet, only 25$ , detailed in the video.
-Toilets which can be bought.
Long term

Treating Critical Wound
Terminology:
(ROT = RULE OF THUMB)
(SPHA = SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP ASAP)
Treatment of critical bleeding:
1. Check the patients condition:
-Unconscious?
-Responsive? Is able to speak?
-If conscious, check for shock/state of mind
-[ROT] If the patient can respond to your questions, patient can usually be classified as non-critical
-Any visual un-normalaties (pale skin, visible damage, etc)? -> Can be a clue to your way of treatment.
-Check the pupils if the situation is not critical
-Largened pupils = possible medication/subtance use
-Eyes moving a lot = possible head injury (SPHA)
2. Scan for major damage (if the patient is unconscious)
-Major arteries (i.e. neck, wrists, groin-area..)
-If visual bleeding:
-Take your belt, or make a DIY-bandage from shirt etc.
Wrap around ABOVE the wound ([ROT] to close bloodflow) and put a solid, long object (solid branch, i.e.)
between the wrap and the leg. Twist this "valve" to close the artery.
! IMPORTANT: DO NOT OPEN THE WRAP !
Especially if it has been on the patient longer than 20 mins,
- if you loosen a tourniquet you'll likely send a shower of boot clots through the body and can trigger strokes or heart attacks by doing so.
- the "old" blood in the "closed" limb may been toxified, thus poisoning the body.
-After this, SPHA
(Editors note to reader: do not try this yourself without practise.)
