Polytech has entered Chinese international educational platforms 💻
The leading Chinese distance education platform XuetangX has become a new partner of our University.
The cooperation agreement was signed by the Rector of SPbPU Andrei Rudskoi and the general director of the Chinese company Wang Shuaiguo.
🔜 As part of the new partnership, the university will be able to post educational content on the resources of Chinese colleagues.
In the near future, the content will be published in English and translation into Chinese is possible.

International competition "Steel2Real'2023"
The participants of the competition are invited to develop a multi-storey residential building made of steel prefabs, modular structures with built-in non-residential public premises for the resettlement of people from dilapidated and dilapidated housing within the framework of one project.
The winners of the contest are awarded memorable prizes, as well as cash prizes:
1️⃣ for the first place — 200,000 (two hundred thousand) rubles;
2️⃣ for the second place — 160,000 (one hundred and sixty thousand) rubles;
3️⃣ for the third place — 120,000 (one hundred and twenty thousand) rubles.
Who may participate?
➡️ students of bachelor's degree, specialty and master's degree of any form of education of universities of any specialties
➡️ students of colleges of any specialties are invited individually or as part of project teams (up to 5 people).
➡️ young specialists who have completed their studies at the university no earlier than 2020 can be participants of the competition.
What to do?
To participate in the competition, you must register on the website, complete the project and upload it in your personal account by March 23, 2023.

The Polytechnic University has created a prototype device with which a person can independently monitor the state of his cardiovascular system. 🤩
The technology is developed on the basis of fiber-optic sensors, data from which is sent to a regular smartphone.
Thanks to the use of simple parts, a portable device is four times cheaper than the classic devices with which research is carried out.
