Part 2.
“For me, public activity is a call to serve and benefit others. Especially in the field of international cooperation, I feel that diversity is a great force for moving forward together, and no matter how difficult the situation, dialogue or communication should always begin with an open heart. This is my main motivation when working in the field of intercultural communication.
I believe that the dialog space should always exist and be open to everyone. Especially for strengthening relations between Indonesia and Russia, as well as Indonesia and the world. Therefore, my Indonesian friends and I have organized events that represent a dialogue between peoples, such as the Indonesian Student Ambassador to Russia, international seminars, Indonesian language lessons, etc.
In addition to this activity, I also actively participate in several cultural festivals, international youth forums/camps, and was also invited to speak at international forums, for example, a few days ago at the International Municipal BRICS+ Forum 2022 in St. Petersburg to present international youth cooperation between Indonesia-Russia, Indonesia-The world.” - Imanullah shared with us.
Why did you decide to participate in the contest?
“To be honest, I am also not sure that I will participate in this competition. Because it's hard for me to even be a nominee. But, thanks to the support of my mentor and Deputy director of extracurricular activities at the HSIEP, Pavel S. Nedelko, I thought why not try it first. Whatever the result, it's important to try. And apparently, I was able to achieve victory. Thank you for the incredible trust. I hope this can inspire all students of our university.” 💚
