Model UN at Polytech! 🌐
Heated debates, intensive diplomatic negotiations, hard work on resolutions on topical world problems and an incredibly warm and friendly atmosphere.
This year Polytechnic's Model UN took place for the fourth time and has already united more than 120 students from 17 educational institutions of Russia, including foreign students from Congo, Cameroon, Indonesia, Myanmar, Colombia, China, Ecuador and other countries.
Heated debates, intensive diplomatic negotiations, hard work on resolutions on topical world problems and an incredibly warm and friendly atmosphere.

In honor of our anniversary, we want to introduce you to the history of the university!
And we start from 1904
🔽 The first combatant Russian submarine Dolphin was floated out. SPbPI teachers I.G. Bubnov and M.N. Beklemishev took active part in the design and construction of it.
🔽 Professor N.A. Menshutkin was honored with the Lomonosov Award for his works in chemical kinetics.
🔽 Chair of the Department of General Chemistry N.S. Kurnakov invented the «Kurnakov pyrometer», the top-of-the-line for the time device for thermal analysis.
