🪐 POLYTECH SATELLITE IN SPACE 🪐
- The Polytech Universe 3 ultra-small satellite (cubsat) went into space from the Vostochny launch site together with the Soyuz-2.1b rocket. This is the third Polytech nano-satellite, which studies electromagnetic radiation on the Earth's surface from space, and the first one equipped with an engine!
- In 2022 the university sent two cube satellites Polytech Universe 1 and Polytech Universe 2 into space. The main difference between the satellite launched today and the previous ones is in the position stabilization systems installed, as well as in the engine. This will allow the spacecraft to perform maneuvers and change orbital parameters.
- Within the framework of the Space Pi project of the Foundation for Assistance to Innovations it is planned to send 100 national nanosatellites developed in Russian universities to the orbit of the Earth by 2025.
