says Hauwau Bala.
The Polytechnic University wins the hearts of many people from all over the world.
A student from Nigeria, Hauwau Bala, was fascinated by the idea of entering St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, wanting to get more opportunities for academic and professional growth. Filled with courage and determination, she enrolled at university for a master's degree in emergency preparedness and response. She was also very excited about the opportunity to receive the scholarship.

Glue and bolts: a new approach to wet assembly is proposed in Russia 🔩
Polytechnic scientists have developed a new approach to analyzing “wet” assembly of large-size structures using glue and fasteners using a mathematical model and computer code.
🔎 The technology of the so-called hybrid or “wet” assembly consists in simultaneous installation of bolts and application of a layer of glue when joining parts. Today, such technologies are widely used in:
🚙 automotive industry
🚢 shipbuilding
🎢 construction of engineering structures.
