Q1. Fingerprinting and medical examination
All foreign citizens (except for citizens of the Republic of Belarus and citizens having the status of temporary residence permit or residence permit) arriving in Russia since 29.12.2021 must undergo mandatory fingerprint registration, photographing and medical examination (in accordance with Federal Law № 274-FZ of 01.07.2021):

🔸 Students, postgraduate students, trainees - within 90 days from the moment of entry into the Russian Federation
🔸 Foreign teachers - within 30 days from the moment of entry into the Russian Federation

⚡️Министр образования Валерий Фальков впервые рассказал, чем заменят Болонскую систему. Новая отечественная система высшего образования объединит российский и советский опыт, накопленный за 20–30 лет, в частности, наработки МИФИ Новосибирского госуниверситета, пояснил министр

По его словам, определять конкретные форматы будут российские «университеты вместе с индустриями, реальным сектором экономики»

Фальков заявил, что частично элементы Болонской системы могут сохраниться: по его словам, «коренной слом» существующей в России сейчас системы не нужен

How to get a debit card for a foreign student?🌏💸

To apply for a bank card, non-residents will need the next set of documents:

🟣 Passport or other ID;
🟣 In case the ID is in a foreign language - additionally provide a translation certified by a notary;
🟣 Residence permit in the Russian Federation or a document that allows temporary residence in the country;
🟣 Migration card (if you have one);

You are able to open an account in most banks, if you prepare a complete set of papers.

To-do list to apply for a card:

✅ Collect a package of documents and apply to the selected bank;
✅ Fill in an application there;
✅ Choose a payment system. Usually banking organizations offer several options to choose from;
✅ Sign all necessary papers and specify the term of the plastic card issue;

When the card is ready and you can pick it up yourself or use the courier service (if available) ☺

🔺 Usually it takes no more than 10 working days.
