Today, on May 27, our beloved city on the Neva River turns 319 years old! 🎉💙
Rector of #Polytechnic University Andrey Rudskoy:
"Dear polytechnics and all citizens, I cordially congratulate you on the birthday of St. Petersburg!
St. Petersburg is a beautiful city with a rich history, unique spiritual and cultural heritage. Its founder is Peter the Great, the first All–Russian Emperor, a talented engineer whose name the Polytechnic proudly bears.
For more than 120 years, scientists and graduates of our university have been selflessly working for the benefit of St. Petersburg, developing science, education, technology, industry and economy, strengthening its international position.
On this festive day, I wish everyone happiness and health, success in everything, well-being in the family and all the best!"
