The study year has already started and Polytech’s gathered students from all over the world under the same roof. So it is the time for tutors to tackle agenda and prepare for our international friends’ arrivals.

TutorForces SPbPU is a voluntary student association. 🧡
Their mission is to help international students soon settle down in their new university and tune themselves to life in Russia.

👋 What exactly does TutorForces team do?
- meets international students right after their arrival at our city;
- helps with dormitory check-in and document execution;
- tells about life in Russia and Saint-Petersburg;
- organizes colourful events within Polytech as well as in collaboration with other universities.

They become true friends for international students and continue their communication beyond the university!

And Polytechnic will help you with that. Currently, @poly_sport has a modern complex of sports facilities. It includes:

In addition, Polytechnic University has two recreational summer facilities. In summer, students and staff of Polytechnic University can have an opportunity to have rest in the University’s:

Located correspondingly in the picturesque areas of the Karelian Isthmus, on the shore of Vuoksa Lake nearby Priozersk
📍Southern Camps
Located on the Black Sea Coast, in the settlement of Novomikhailovka (nearby Tuapse).

The results of the seventh edition of the Moscow International University Ranking «Three Missions of the University» were published.

SPbPU maintained its high positions: like last year, the university ranked 15-17th among Russian universities and entered the interval group 351-400 in the world list. 🥳🥳🥳

Polytechnic University has developed a robot for precise dosing of medium-viscous polymers 🤩

A team from Polytechnic University has developed a universal robotic platform for applying medium-viscous liquids to various surfaces in automatic mode and along a predetermined trajectory.

Thanks to the product it is possible to pour various polymers based on polyurethanes, silicones, epoxy resins, including composite high-viscosity mixtures, such as solder pastes and fluxes. The platform has its own interface for controlling dispensing parameters and trajectory, as well as for tracking with machine vision. The robot has a capacity of up to 400 products per work shift.

All foreign citizens must apply for a medical insurance policy in Russia.

❗️Medical insurance is a mandatory requirement of all Russian universities.

Medical insurance policy should include:
🔺life insurance
🔺health
🔺insurance
🔺repatriation of remains.

Here is the list of companies which you may choose to buy an insurance.

📄To apply for a policy, you need:

- passport
- translation of your passport
- valid registration

If you do not have insurance, you will bear all the medical costs yourself! This is much more expensive than buying insurance once a year.
