Imagine this: A student from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, selected by the Department of the International Foundation Program, gets the chance to represent their university at an international conference in the beautiful city of Kazan. That student was me, and what an unforgettable experience it was!
From the majestic Kazan Kremlin to the stunning Qul Sharif Mosque, the serene Kaban Lake, the vibrant Baumana Street, and the captivating theaters, every moment felt like a page from a fairy tale. And let’s not forget the food. oh, the food! Kazan stole my heart with its rich culture, warm people, and delicious flavors.
But none of this would have been possible without the amazing support of two very special people: our supervisor, Daria Alexandrovna, and Ksenia Sergeevna. Their guidance, encouragement, and kindness made this experience unforgettable.
And to our amazing Department of the International Foundation Program—thank you for believing in us, for opening doors to such opportunities, and for making dreams like this come true.
This experience wasn’t just a trip; it was a milestone in my academic and personal growth.
