Lost Download Mode?

If your phone boots into recovery mode instead of download mode,  this is how I solved it.

1. Let the battery drain down until the phone turns off.
2. Try to turn the phone back on a few times by holding power key.
3. Hold both volume keys and then plug in cable to pc.

This gave me my download back again.

Alternatively
Go to terminal and type
reboot download
OR on your PC type
adb reboot download

Decrypt.

If multidisabler doesn't work try this method.

1. Copy /vendor/etc/fstab.**** over to another folder.
2. Edit it to remove the line containing the word "encryption" (just put # in front of
/dev......

For example
# /dev/block/by-name/userdata /data f2fs noatime,nosuid,nodev,discard,usrquota,grpquota,fsync_mode=nobarrier,reserve_root=32768,resgid=5678,whint_mode=fs-based,inlinecrypt latemount,wait,check,quota,reservedsize=128M,fileencryption=aes-256-xts:aes-256-cts:v2,checkpoint=fs,fscompress,keydirectory=/metadata/vold/metadata_encryption

3. Boot into twrp
4. Use twrp file manager to replace the fstab file with the edited one.
5. Format data (not just wipe)
6. Reboot to recovery
7. Reboot to system
8. Setup the phone completely
9. Reboot to twrp
10. Backup boot data and super
