I"m now realizing that the Indian trucker thing is the Establishments weak attempt at taking away the power of a trucker strike if the Left takes control of the Federal government again and starts throwing Right-wingers in prison. Learn how to gunfight with one hand. Practice racking your slide on your belt, pocket, heel of your boot (unloaded). Shoot it one handed. Learn to reload with one hand. Practice shooting from the ground, behind barriers, from the driver and passenger seat of your vehicle. etc;
Obviously this is all based on experience but a great place to start for rifle is the Army M4 qual. Standing unsupported, prone unsupported, prone supported, kneeling supported, standing supported. You can obviously add to this.
Also, the Department of Energy has a fantastic firearms training program. If you're a young guy who doesn't want to join the military but still wants to learn the basics and more, go apply to work security at a nuclear plant. The pay is usually pretty good and if you're squared away you will have job security. Plus you can work a shitload of hours, make a bunch of money and learn how to defend yourself.
