Performance for Peace in Caen, Normandy, France, July 5, 2023: The "Mémorial de Caen" commemorates the thousands of victims of World War II, both, soldiers and civilians, who died in the Battle of Normandy in 1944. It is dedicated to the history of violence and intensive, outstanding conflicts in the 20th Century, particularly World War II. In its function as a peace center, it wants to transport as a basic idea the "spirit of reconciliation". The inscription on the building's facade by the local poet Paul Dorey says: "The pain broke me, the fraternity relieved me, of my wound sprang a river of freedom“. We were delighted by the sculpture "Non-violence" in front of the Entrance, a pistol with a knot in the barrel, by Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd. It speaks from our heart: "Peace! Diplomacy instead of weapon deliveries!“ In order to keep a dignified distance from the memorial we have presented the portraits next to the building on the lawn.

Bertha von Suttner was a pacifist, peace researcher, journalist and writer. In 1906 she was the first woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. In her award speech she presented a 3-point plan for overcoming conflicts between states without violence. Peace and acceptance of all people and all nations were her highest ideal. In 1889 she published her pacifist novel "Lay Down Your Arms!" (later translated into 20 languages), which caused a sensation and made her one of the most prominent representatives of the international peace movement. As president of peace societies, she attended peace conferences and informed people about the dangers and interests of the arms industry. She advocated stable peace systems, arbitration treaties, a peace union for all states and an international court of justice. She travelled to America twice, where she gave lectures for peace and warned against rearmament and a war of annihilation. She died in 1914, just a few weeks before World War I, which she had repeatedly warned about.

Just in case you are wondering not hearing from us so far, here some update: Our next stop is England - but - we've been stuck in Normandy for eight days now, waiting for our dog to get a blue European passport to enter England by a ferry boat. Although the dog is chipped, fully vaccinated and treated for tapeworm. His yellow vaccination passport, which almost every human (still) has, is not sufficient. Could it be that we are actually dealing with a large-scale animal experiment and testing for us humans? The mandatory use of microchips since 2011 for all pets, in combination with an European Passport for identity and disease control sounds not too far away from the WHO/EU near future ideas controlling us humans with Digital ID´s and health certificates for "epidemic" protection... Doesn't it? Well, we take it like the 3 French musketeers, “One for all, all for one”: We wait and then go on together with our light-work for peace and freedom.

Performance for Peace at the HOPE Sussex Community's Freedom Music Festival in U.K., 21 - 23 July 2023:
Thanks to the Australian freedom activist Monica Smit (monicasmit.com), who is currently working as an activist in Europe connecting freedom fighters, we were invited to exhibit our Performance for Peace at the HOPE Sussex Community Festival (hopesussex.co.uk). We were thrilled to experience star guest David Icke and to meet so many incredibly warm hearted and courageous people commited to truth, trust and freedom. HOPE stands for "Home Of Positive Energy" and you can feel it. With a lot of passion and love, the community is building a beautiful oasis in the south of the country near the coast, where children can develop freely and people of all ages can meet to learn and grow together. The weather was bad, but the positive energy just amazing!
