Nobody seems to realize it, but ChatGPT poses a paradox:
1. The model needs an incredible amount of information generated by humans
2. Who's going to bust their ass again creating content on the internet when an automated AI can do it?
In a few years, there will only be content generated by bots on the web

Here is the demo site: https://huggingface.co/spaces/timbrooks/instruct-pix2pix
You can do the test yourself: upload a picture, give one or more instructions and click on generate
Some people pay hundreds of $$ to Photoshop designers to get the same result but in one shot (no multiple tries) and in much more time
Another job that will disappear because of AI

Youtube content is becoming AI-manufactured. Have you noticed?
I've been watching Youtube for as long as I remember and I certainly enjoyed the personal touch almost every video had. However, over the past 12 months, I noticed a significant shift in content quality.
There is now a lot more content 100% filled with stock video footage (akin to stock photos you see on business websites) + emotionless robot voiceover. Basically, it's like watching a slide presentation of stock photos that trigger no emotional response in you. Could it be that they are losing audience (due to Tiktok and the likes) and desperately trying to fill the void with bot-manufactured videos to please the shareholders (hey, look, the content generation rate has gone up! we are doing fine!) or is it the Dead Internet Theory all over again?
