Remind Yourself

If you know a little of yourself, you will have realized that you are more than meets your eyes in the mirror in the morning. What you see is not what you are. You see the form not the content, the body not the soul, the matter not the mind. In quiet and profound moments, we innately know that is true. But we forget. The world tells us and wants us to believe that we are what we see - and we take the easy way out. We believe.

That's why the awakening of spirit and the flowering of our spirituality (nothing to do with religion) means we have to keep reminding ourselves, a hundred times a day, I am a soul - not a body, I am an eternal spirit - not a perishable piece of meat. I am quality, not quantity. I am. Otherwise, freedom is not possible. And if we are not free, in the deepest space inside our own being, we cannot be truly happy.

We all require regular periods of silence and solitude in our lives in the midst of a fast lifestyle with busy days, where most of us, have a lot of actions to perform. So, a good question to ask oneself is that do I like a mind which is full of thoughts or do I like it with fewer thoughts and greater spaces between them. Once upon a time, there was a group of people travelling from one country to another on foot. They had great loads to carry on their backs and it was a tiring journey. By the time, they reached their destination, they had lost a lot of energy and their enthusiasm was at its lowest. They were people whose task was to carry stuff from one place to another. Who would not like a life with lesser weight to carry? In the same manner, our emotional carriers are our minds which carry the weight of our thoughts. The fewer the thoughts and the lighter they are, the more our minds will be light and always enthusiastic. 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬:

𝟏. 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐀𝐭 𝐀 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 – A mind which is anxious and full of fear thinks excessively and faster than what is required at that point of time. Also, such a mind sometimes creates false future realities, which increase the number of thoughts, as it anticipates and then tries to solve non-existent problems that have not yet occurred, but the mind fears that they may occur. This is what we commonly negative thinking. On the other hand, positive thinking is the visualization of positive scenes for the future, with complete hope and determination. When we do this regularly in all types of situations, our mind slows down and every thought is like a little atom which sits inside the mind and keeps us relaxed and comfortable.

𝟐. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐎𝐟 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 – A common habit that we all have is to think of others even when it is not necessary and important. Suppose a person in your office is not performing well and upto his necessary capacity and his work efficiency directly influences your company’s performance, a common response would be to correct him and also talk about his work to the right people in the company. Once you have done that, should you think about him negatively each time you see him or should you keep talking about him negatively to each and every person in the company, which is called waste talk. There are so many such people in our lives. If we carry heavy thoughts filled with negativity about each family member, friend and office colleague, will it not be tiring? So apply the full stop, give up the unnecessary question marks and also exclamation marks in your thoughts. Keep the thoughts numbered and replace negative thoughts about others with thoughts about specialties, virtues and skills as well as positive personality characteristics, so that you do not get tired and experience mental fatigue.

Enjoy Everything You Do

Most of our time goes into pleasing others and making them happy. Often despite our best efforts we find that people do not appreciate what we have done. When we have tried hard to please someone we feel disheartened and upset.

Whatever I do is for myself. When I recognise this fact, I will never do anything just to please others. When I am content with the effort I put in, I will never be dependent on others' recognition of what I have done. When I enjoy everything I do, I will be truly happy. The more content I am, the more others will start appreciating my effort.

Walk Quickly

Walk quickly today, not because you are in a hurry, but because you value the exercise for legs and heart. As you walk, allow your thoughts to visit you, but not stay. Let them come to pass, and you will be surprised how quickly they become positive, and filled with creative ideas.

And paradoxically, if you stay internally aware, you may notice that the quicker you walk, the more your thinking slows down and deepens. Walking briskly and positive thinking – that’s the simplest way to take care of body and mind. And life was meant to be simple…wasn’t it?

Independent Observer

Peace ends when you are emotionally involved in a situation. The practice of being an independent observer helps you stay stable and calm.

It is the best way to approach a decision in any circumstance.

Choices

Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It's your choice how you live life.

𝟑. 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐔𝐩 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐠𝐨 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐲 – A very big weight that some of us are carrying on our emotional heads is of our subtle ego. This morning my colleague at my college or at my workplace commented negatively on my dress I was wearing. She commented and I did not see her the entire day after that, but I carry her comment in my head and heart as if it was the biggest insult that I ever faced. Where there is excessive ego, there is immense feeling of insult. Why? I am too attached to my positive self-image and I cannot tolerate anyone dirtying the image even a little bit. So be sweet, humble and kind - the one who does not mind people’s comments and loves everyone inspired of that. Bow down and your excessive thoughts of feeling insulted in your everyday interactions will stop and keep your mind light.

𝟒. 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐀 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 … 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐈𝐬 𝐀 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐀 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞 – A very important practice for experiencing life without getting burdened is to enjoy the journey. Have you ever seen a journey without side scenes? In the same way, life’s journey will always have scenes that are sometimes negative and sometimes positive. And remember no scenes stay forever. So, while looking at each scene, be free from any anxiety and worry because as it is commonly said – This also shall pass. The present becomes the past and the future will be beautiful. No negative situation lasts forever and a patient wait with a consciousness full of peace will always bring us to a point in the journey, when the scene has gone and the beautiful journey continues. This is a law of life. Also, the more we remain detached from side scenes, the more happier and full of lightness we will be.

𝟓. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 … 𝐁𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐎𝐰𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫 – A very important and vital aspect of keeping your thoughts less and very positive and light and remain free from mental fatigue, is checking your thoughts from time to time throughout the day. One is changing the direction of your thoughts to a positive one, when they are becoming negative and building up in quantity and negative strength and disturbing you. This can be done by keeping a book or any other source of positive reading on your mobile or laptop handy. Read it in the midst of actions. Do it 4-5 times a day and you will be able to change the direction of your thinking easily. Also, when you end the day, review your thoughts of the entire day that has passed and make corrections for the next day. The next morning, plan your tasks for the day and include regular short breaks for self-checking and self-analysis at the thought level along with them.

Comparing

If I am always comparing myself with other human beings, I will either suffer from ego or jealousy.

Love Has many faces

Love can never be exclusive. The sun does not choose to shine on some flowers in the garden and not others. Love is inclusive and has many faces - caring, listening, sharing from the heart, just accepting someone for what they are right now, are all acts of love, as long as you seek nothing in return.

It all starts with acceptance of yourself - you're just fine as you are right now, warts and all. It's not that you will stay that way for ever - but you might, if you don't accept. The secret key to the greatest door called love is acceptance. First your self, then others (especially the ones you currently resist) and eventually ...all.

Forgive to Give

Often we think that forgiveness is something we do for someone else, but actually forgiveness is something we do for ourselves. Because it takes more energy to hold onto hurt, guilt, anger, resentment than it does to forgive. When we forgive, we experience peace of mind and free ourselves to move on and move forward.

Are you ready to forgive and give to yourself?

We are living in a world full of uncertainties i.e. a world where anything can go wrong in a second. Have you ever wondered what the reason for this is? Tomorrow you step out of your house and you could meet with an accident. You appear for a job interview and inspired of all your hard work, you don’t do as well as expected. Also, sometimes within a few seconds, a close relationship with a friend or a close associate turns negative because of a misunderstanding and you are no longer on good terms with the person. Or in some cases a person, because of his or her own thinking, suddenly goes through an episode of depression. He or she is unable to concentrate his mind on managing his or her family as before. So life events are as unpredictable as the weather.

We have all got used to watching news on television and reading the newspaper and everyday we listen to all these unexpected events. Events are happening in the lives of people around us and all over the world. 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝? As we spiritual beings spend more and more time on earth, the quality of our actions is coming down. Also, the energy of these actions which radiates into our immediate surroundings is of a similar nature. This energy keeps coming back at us repeatedly. 𝐄𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧; 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. This attracts negative situations from the people around us and from the nature’s elements in the form of negative situations of different types. Situations arise in the physical body, role and relationships, sometimes immediately, sometimes after a few days, months or years and sometimes even after many births.

Gentleness

If trees had souls, the quality most attributable to them would be gentleness.

Gentleness is not a lack of strength but a quality which doesn't disturb, doesn't push, yet knows its power and can provide shelter.

Get on with it

The less I think about doing something and the faster I just get on with it, the fewer problems I cause myself. Good planning is always helpful, but time spent fretting and procrastinating is a major drain on my energy.

Rest Easy

Rest does not come with sleeping, it comes with waking. This is both an insight and an action of enlightenment. When we are enlightened we realise that real rest is possible only when we become free of illusion and we no longer struggle against life.

Illusion is the idea that people should be, and do, what we want them to. The truth is, all is as it should be, despite appearances, or our perceptions of others to the contrary. This means you can be easy on yourself, easy with others and easy with the world around you.

Easiness is a virtue, an attractive one at that. It is much more influential than force. So quit forcing, end the struggling and...relax!
5
Attachment

The root of suffering is attachment. You have created a space in your mind that holds a person or object as part of you. When that person or object is criticized, neglected or not with you, you feel pain in your mind and you experience a sense of loss.

If you want to be happy, you must learn to love and appreciate while remaining independent.

Drama of Life

Every passing moment is like a passing act in a play. Each of us are the actors playing out parts very well. An actor is never focused on another actors part, continually criticizing it. He just gets on with his own part, playing it as best he can.

This Drama of Life is eternal, predestined and accurate. Whatever anybody else says and does is their role, not mine. My task is to play my part right. Right thoughts restore rightness to the whole play.

Practice detaching yourself from your role and experiencing the truth, behind the role and you will find yourself loving every instant of your role and the Drama, too.

Newton’s third law of motion states that every action is followed by an equal and opposite reaction. This law is one which talks about physical forces but on a spiritual level, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 – 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚. 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐬. his result comes back at me either from a person or from my own physical body or from my surroundings like my workplace or family. Of course, there is no need to mention that the karma’s result is positive if the karma has been positive and negative if the karma has been negative. Also, unlike as in the case of physical forces, where the magnitude of the forces can be measured, on a spiritual level, the intensity of a particular karma – how positive or negative it is, cannot be measured. But we generally express in normal discussions that this was a positive karma and can differentiate it from a negative karma. So each time I perform an action, even if I am not aware consciously, a result of the action gets stored in my future destiny. This is the invisible law of the universe – the law of karma or the law of action and reaction on a spiritual level.

Also, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭. E.g. this morning you get angry at your office colleague and two hours later you meet with an accident. This does not necessarily mean that this was the fruit of the karma that you performed in the morning. Similarly, you donate some money for welfare purpose today and after two days you earn a profit in your business does not mean that the profit is a result of the donation. This is because we perform karmas continuously. Some of them are positive and some are negative and they result in positive and negative sanskaras being stored in the soul respectively. These sanskaras, as explained in yesterday’s message, attract positive and negative situations respectively from our surroundings. Also, how positive or how negative the action is, also determines the result of the action which comes back to us in any form. A more positive action will attract a more positive result and a more negative karma will attract a more negative result. This is the law of karma.

Positivity

If my mind is still enough, I can see the deeper meaning behind each situation. No matter how bad a problem may seem on the surface, if I remain positive eventually I will see how everything has worked out for the best.

Real Gentleness

Real gentleness in a person is a great power. The power that sees, understands, but never interferes. Like the branch of the tree, just touching the earth but never taking root in it. Never to take root in someone else’s mind but to help, that’s gentleness.

𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕀𝕟𝕧𝕚𝕤𝕚𝕓𝕝𝕖 𝕃𝕒𝕨 𝕆𝕗 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕌𝕟𝕚𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕖 (ℙ𝕒𝕣𝕥 𝟛)

We all desire to live a beautiful lifestyle where we don’t have to face negative situations from the world which are a reflection of our past karmas. By past we mean karmas performed in this birth and also karmas performed over many births before this one. Of course, the births before this one have been forgotten completely. Also, every thought, word and action performed in each birth created a matching sanskara in the soul. Such actions were forgotten completely by us as we took new births and older births were forgotten. Such sanskaras are the main cause of attracting negative or positive situations in our present life. So, nothing can be done about what happened in the past and how we spent each birth and what was the quality of our actions in each birth. But, there is a way of cleaning up all the negative sanskaras of the soul which attract negative situations in our life. 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬, 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐰𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐝, 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐦 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.

Meditation means touching this point of pure energy using the power of visualization. Also, one sits under this fountain of overflowing spiritual energy which He radiates, for a few minutes everyday. His light is like a laser beam which removes or destroys these negative sanskaras from the soul, which were created due to negative karmas. We commonly call this meditation as a method of destroying negative actions performed over many births. A soul from which traces of negative actions have been removed then attracts positive circumstances only and keeps negative circumstances away.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲. As we come down in the process of birth and rebirth, we fill ourselves with these negative sanskaras, due to the quality of actions reducing and as a result, the sorrow in our life increases.

𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕀𝕟𝕧𝕚𝕤𝕚𝕓𝕝𝕖 𝕃𝕒𝕨 𝕆𝕗 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕌𝕟𝕚𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕖 (ℙ𝕒𝕣𝕥 𝟜)

We all live our lives at a fast pace without ever stopping and checking the quality of our thoughts, words and actions. It was different for us when we did not possess the knowledge of what is a good action and what is not. But now, when we have this knowledge from God, we need to review at the end of each day what we have done in the complete day. How were our thoughts, words and actions and was any thought, word or action not the right one? The measuring meter for this is the knowledge of the Law of Karma, which our intellect possesses. So, the first step is learning this knowledge and then implementing the knowledge in our lives.

Generally speaking, not only any word or action, but every thought which is 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 – 𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐠𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚. 𝐀𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐣𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐲, 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞, 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐞𝐭𝐜. 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚.
All of them create negative sanskaras in the soul when created or indulged in. For many, imagining a day without some of these may seem difficult and that will make you realize that a very large percentage of our thoughts, words and actions go the wrong way. This happens without us making a conscious effort of stopping them from going that way. Also, thinking, speaking and performing actions which are 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 and is something we spend a lot of time in doing. These are of a lesser negative nature but have a subtle connection with body consciousness, which is the cause of all negative sanskaras being created in the soul. Of course, there are also thoughts, words and actions, which are 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐲-𝐭𝐨-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞. But they are sometimes accompanied by the unnecessary when we attach excessive attachment to the past and future with them. And lastly, what is commonly known to all of us, all thoughts, words and actions, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥 - 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐣𝐨𝐲, 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐬, 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 (𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡) 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞.
