Sometimes our mind is clouded with confusion. In this agitated inner state, mind creates too many thoughts, and the intellect cannot process them smoothly. So we struggle to take right decisions or timely decisions.
𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 -
1. Confusion cannot be sorted from thinking at the same level. You need to be calm and elevate your thoughts.

3. In the stillness of your mind, put forth your question and wait for answers. Be assured that right answers come either immediately or later.
4. Whether it is confusion in beliefs, decisions, career or relationships, solution is within you. Even if you take advice from others, take decisions based on your intuition.

Look Inwards
We all have three eyes. Two for looking out and one for looking in. Why would we want to look in when everything is happening 'out there'? Because the treasure we seek is inside, not outside. What is treasure? Beauty, truth, peace, happiness. You already have what you seek. You already are stunningly beautiful. You are already peaceful and loving. How come you don't know this? Simple, you never look inwards, beyond superficial memories or recent experiences, so you never see your own riches. Take a moment to stop, look in and see. Don't rush. Don't search. Just look. And be aware.

When we compete, we cannot remain happy because of a constant insecurity and fear that someone else might go ahead of us. So even on achieving top ranks, there is insecurity. Competition creates stress, fear, jealousy, hatred and moves us away from happiness. Co-operation earns blessings and makes us successful. Success is not about racing ahead and being Number One. Success is measured by our happiness, health, beautiful relationships and our achievements. Co-operation is natural for us, so let’s live the natural way. Today, remind yourself you will constantly better yourself but not compete or compare with others. Make co-operation and not competition as your nature.
Society always encouraged us to compete and compare. We adopted the belief that life is a competition. But no matter how well we did, there was always someone with a bigger house, a better gadget or a higher position. Let us understand that no one is better, we are different. Remind yourself you are a happy being. Perform to the best of your capacity. Compare only with your previous performance. Compete with no one, but co-operate with everyone around you. Co-operate by creating good thoughts for them, co-operate by using encouraging words, co-operate by sharing what you know, co-operate by caring for everyone. Always remember your life is your journey, to your destination, at your speed, using your capacity, and on the basis of your values. From today, get off the race, focus on our path and move at a pace comfortable to you. By sharing what you know, healthy relationships will be created and you will be successful in many ways.

Any situation is not really the problem, our perception about it makes it a problem. The situation is only as big as our mind perceives it to be. We often radiate negative energy by blaming, judging, questioning or trying to control the situation, which is actually not in our control. Acceptance of what happened silences the mind. Our efficiency and decision-making powers increase. We start to see solutions and new possibilities in the stillness of our mind. Our calmness influences the situation and controls the situation. Let’s always be focused on what is in our control - our response. Resolve the situation and if nothing can be done, accept it with dignity. When a situation is not your way, do you label it as a problem, crisis, chaos or misfortune? In reality, it is just a scene of life, meant to be the way it is. Thinking about what already happened just because it did not match your expectations, destroys your inner power to fly over it. Any situation is not really the problem, our perception about it makes it a problem. The situation is only as big as our mind perceives it to be. We often radiate negative energy by blaming, judging, questioning or trying to control the situation, which is actually not in our control. Acceptance of what happened silences the mind. Our efficiency and decision-making powers increase. We start to see solutions and new possibilities in the stillness of our mind. Our calmness influences the situation and controls the situation. Let’s always be focused on what is in our control - our response. Resolve the situation and if nothing can be done, accept it with dignity. Remind yourself, 𝘐 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴. 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴.
We have so many accomplishments over the years right from childhood, that we are really proud of. We must have faced many challenges along the way of achieving them. There might have been difficulties, interruptions or disagreements. Remember all those times to see how you crossed them. You will notice that whenever you were focused on solutions you would have got better results than when you were focused on the challenge itself. So, whether it is an issue in our health, in relationships, in a project, or in finances, let us cultivate a solution-oriented approach. Do not avoid or delay during challenges. As a problem-solver you start converting dreams into goals, and goals into reality. You can handle everything that comes in your way, with your solution-oriented mindset.

Don’t Give Sorrow, Don’t Take Sorrow!
Don’t give sorrow, don’t take sorrow! The qualities that stop me giving sorrow are mercy, love and honesty. If someone has these, they will never even think of giving sorrow. I need to be merciful not to give sorrow and I need to be strong in order not to take sorrow. In fact, the moment you stop taking sorrow, you days of happiness have begun.
These are your eyes, your ears and your lips – it is up to you whether to take sorrow or not.

Most of us have been through phases in life where we have either done something or not done something, only because we were concerned about what other people think about us. It is so valuable to just be who we are, even if people refuse to accept us that way. But if our life is governed by public approval, we live like victims, crushed under the opinions of society. It is a symbol of great strength to just be who we are and do what feels right and comfortable to us. But often we base our decisions on public approval. We even do certain things that don’t align with our priority, values or capacity.
𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘆, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹 –
1. Know yourself, accept yourself and appreciate yourself, then your happiness will not be dependent on approval from others.
2. Create your own definitions of right and wrongs, values and principles. Your priorities, choices, decisions, habits need to align with them.
3. Losing people’s approval when you decide to do something which is right, doesn’t make you wrong. Your peers might own an expensive phone, but you need not be embarrassed about buying a lesser expensive model.
4. If you do anything just to please people, you may do the act but create thoughts of stress, anxiety and unwillingness.
Train your mind to live life on your terms and ignore social pressures. Stop worrying about public approval and be authentic. Let’s revise this affirmation everyday -

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞. Have you ever wondered that apart from living a life from morning to night, full of actions like dressing up in the morning, going to work, cooking meals and going off to sleep at the end of the day, we also have a higher purpose in this lifetime? Take for e.g. a machine in your home like an air conditioner. It runs when we put it on and shuts down when we instruct it to. When it is not running, it remains idle without ever thinking that it could do something else. Does it have a higher purpose? No. Then one day comes when we discard it forever and it is abandoned. We all are human beings first and not human doings only. Human doings work from morning to night, performing different actions, without a higher purpose. Human beings have a higher purpose - to look after the being while performing actions necessary to life. So, let us not be a like a machine from today. When we step into our workplace or when we look after our home, family and friends, let us think and be aware that one day we will leave this body and take with us nothing. No financial success, professional achievement, beautiful relationship and looks and outer personality will go with you, when you are no longer in this physical costume or body.
So, pause for a minute this moment and look inwards. I love my son or daughter or husband or wife but one day they will no longer be with me, when I leave this physical costume. For me, the purpose of my life may be looking after them. But my higher purpose is looking after my inner self, my sanskaras, my inner being, which I will carry with me.
