Eternal Star

There is a part of you that is perfect and pure. It is untouched by the less-than-perfect characteristics you have acquired by living in a less than perfect world. This part of you is a still and eternal star. Make time to reach it and this will bring you untold benefit.

Lasting Happiness
The real reason why we sometimes experience a lack of real, deep lasting happiness in our lives is dependency. We are taught to make our happiness dependent on some event, condition, person, object etc. This is why we keep delaying our happiness until things are just right in our life. We think we will be happy in the future and then wonder why we are not happy now. But life is never just right, and the future never comes – there is only now!

And that's why, in order to be happy we must make our happiness a decision and not a dependency. This may seem slightly difficult in the beginning, because we have just spent our life being dependent on acquiring something or someone, or seeing the result we desired, or wanting some pain to go away, before we allow ourselves to be happy.

There was once a businessman who became known as the most successful person in his field because of his hard work and dedication. Thousands of people admired and respected him. Everyone’s attitude was extremely nice and positive towards him. Sometime in the middle of his career he started doing badly and suddenly people began to move away from him. The attitude of many people towards him started becoming negative and the same people who were happy with him, in his success, no longer were there for him, in his failure. The world had turned its back to him. Why did he face such a response from the people around him? Was something lacking in him? Did he commit some mistake? Not at all. But the world was like that for him. Bad. They say 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫-𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢.𝐞. 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞.

Are we able to always have a positive attitude for everyone? Do you ever wonder what stops us from doing that? Our perception of people changes very easily. There is a small example of two people A and B having a conversation amongst each other. B explained something negative about C to A and went away. Later in the day, C came to A to ask for help and A refused to help because he thought C was not a nice person. Who was responsible for this action? B and his negative feedback about C which he gave to A. This changed A’s attitude towards C. This can happen with us in our social circles or in our offices or even in families. 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬. 𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬. Let’s give it a thought in the next two day’s messages.

Choose Feelings

If your days seem filled with unwanted negative feelings, there is only one cure. When they come, choose them. Don't ask why, don't wonder how, don't fight them and never put yourself down for having them. But most of all never blame someone else for how you feel. If you do, it means you are still fast asleep and your choice is to be a victim.

When the feelings come, even big disturbing emotional feelings say, "I choose this feeling" and know it comes because of something you have thought or done in the past, perhaps a certain belief that you have learned or an attachment that is threatened.

Choice does not mean you want the feelings, but it does mean you are taking responsibility for them. And that is the beginning of self mastery. It is the first step to the healing and resolving of your emotions. But only the first step. Try this today and then ask yourself what the next step might be. If you are really interested to know, you will come to know!

Meditation
Meditation is the process of getting to know yourself completely, both who you are inside and how you react to what is outside. Above all, meditation is enjoying yourself in the literal sense of the word.

Through meditation, you discover a very different "me" from perhaps the stressed or troubled person, who may seem superficially to be "me".

You realize that your true nature, the real you, is actually very positive. You begin to discover an ocean of peace right on your doorstep.

𝔸𝕥𝕥𝕚𝕥𝕦𝕕𝕖 𝕄𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕤 (ℙ𝕒𝕣𝕥 𝟚)

Our attitude towards a person is commonly based a lot on what we listen from others about him or her, as discussed in yesterday’s message. On the other hand 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐦. 𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐢𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐞𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞. This is because sometimes in a particular role, in any sphere of life, it may be important to know everything about a person from others also. That does not mean that we should gossip about the other person and indulge in discussions about him or her. This may be unnecessary at times because sometimes people give incorrect feedback also. But that’s not true every time. Sometimes the feedback may be correct and not so nice. Also it may be important to know that piece of information about a particular person, which you are receiving.

At that time, use your power of discrimination and judgment to know whether what you are hearing is true or not because the other person may be incorrect or may purposely be lying or lying because of his or her own lack of discrimination and judgment power. Also, at times, it may be good to refuse the other person’s piece of information or if that’s not possible, hear it, but not let it affect you negatively. In other words, neither should you be disturbed by that piece of information and neither should you share that piece of information with others. Lastly and very importantly your attitude towards that person whose information was shared with you should remain the same. Otherwise 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐭. Power On
Each day we all need to recharge our spiritual battery, otherwise the light of our consciousness becomes dim, thoughts become fuzzy, and decisions are impregnated with doubt.

Power is available inside and outside. Inside us we have a spiritual centre, at the core of our consciousness, pure radiant spiritual light. This is what we are. However it is now blocked by our attachments, the record of all our life experiences and many learned beliefs and perceptions. Outside us we have the sun of spirit, the source, invisible to our physical eyes but only one second away when we are able to quieten and focus our mind.

Meditation connects us to both sources of power - that's why meditation is the way to access the real vitamins and the minerals that spirit craves. The vitamin of pure love and the minerals of truth and wisdom.

Take time to empower yourself today. Sit quietly and connect your mind to each source and allow yourself to recharge and renew.

𝔸𝕥𝕥𝕚𝕥𝕦𝕕𝕖 𝕄𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕤 (ℙ𝕒𝕣𝕥 𝟛)

When listening to a piece of information use your third eye or third ear if you like to call it that. We normally use the words third eye or the eye of wisdom. In the same way 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬, 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠. What that means is emerge spiritual wisdom of different life situations in your mind. Also, emerge the knowledge of Law of Karma (Action). The Law of Karma states that every action on a spiritual level causes a similar reaction or life situation to come back to us. A positive action brings a positive life situation back to us and a negative action brings a negative life situation back to us. The two ears will listen physically but the third ear will listen to the physical information after filtering it with the filter of the Law of Karma. That additionally means understanding every hidden aspect of the information being shared with you about a particular person and yet keep a positive attitude towards that person.

At the same time, 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟖 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐮𝐩, 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞, 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨-𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. What that means do the right thing at the right time – resolve the problem filled situation without harming anyone’s interests on a physical or subtle level of mental energies. Also, keep good wishes for everyone involved, keep yourself free from waste and negative thoughts and maintain the positive environment of the workplace or home. Also, spread good information about everyone including the person who may have committed a mistake or the person who has given you wrong information about that person. Lastly, remember everyone’s original qualities are peace, joy, love, bliss, purity, power and truth. 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬. Then everyone will look beautiful. Attitude matters and it is the key to success. So always keep it nice, pure and positive.

To be our best versions, we don’t need to gain much, but we just need to ensure we don’t lose what we already have – our qualities. Usually our behavior becomes a reflection of the way someone behaves with us. If they are good, we are good. Otherwise we become negative towards them. But by copying their actions, our own qualities should not fade away. Do you often get discouraged by the declining moral standards in the world? When you use your virtues in your interactions with someone, and that person hardly responds positively, do you feel like copying his behaviour? Have you given up any value only because people around you don’t practice it? We all strive to be as nice and as kind as we can. The problem that we expect the other person to be equally good (or even better) to us. And the bigger problem is that if that person is not right to us, we copy their behaviour. Each time we copy someone’s incorrect behavior, we move away from our virtues. Eventually we give up our qualities. Our values, qualities, principles and ethics are our strength. Let us hold on to them. Even if no one around us is using them, and even if others think values don’t work, let us not give up on them. Other people might have an entirely different set of qualities which you may be lacking. Just make sure to use your values, every single time, with everyone. Remind yourself - 𝘐 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘦𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦, 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦. 𝘔𝘺 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺.

At every step in your life, start ensuring that if something is your quality, it flows from you to everyone, in every situation. You do not expect others to have it, and you do not give up just because they don’t have it. Remind yourself - 𝘔𝘺 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘴. 𝘐 𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴. Fewer Desires Lead to Greater Contentment

The fewer desires you have, the happier you will be. Having the right information (truth) leads to contentment. Having the right understanding of the self, our purpose, our origins and our true relationships should free us from the cycles of boom and bust and lead society to that ultimate happiness.

Don't Miss The Essence!

Silence increases the quality and the level of our ability to discern, allowing us to use our time, thoughts and qualities effectively and thus benefit all. In the silence of inner quietness, the intellect makes everything clear and then we just know how to act for the best.

Too much analysis and mental processing pollutes the clarity of discernment; an overload of details makes us miss the essence.

Ignorance and Wisdom

Ignorance makes you believe that life happens haphazardly.
Wisdom teaches you that everything that happens in this theatre of life has profound significance.
What you see today is not the fruit of chance but a fruit from a seed planted in the past.
Plant seeds of peace now and you will create a life of peace in the future.

Simplicity Is Beauty

Choose a day as your day of simplicity.

Speak little, and listen with attention. Do something incognito and nice for a person you are close to. Eat simple and natural food.

Create time periods for not doing anything - just walk, look around, live the moment. Have your mind open to a more profound and silent sensitivity.

Appreciate each scene and each person as they are.

There is a myth that someone who practices spirituality gets disconnected from the world. The truth is, spiritual principles give us the right way of thinking, working and living. Spirituality is not separate from daily life. It shows the right way to go about our daily life. Being spiritual means we, the beings, use the original qualities of the spirit or soul in practical life.

1. Spirituality is not about doing something or becoming someone. It is only about being who you truly are – an embodiment of your 7 original qualities: peace, joy, love, bliss, purity, power and wisdom.

2. You do not need to leave your responsibilities, cut away from people and meditate all day to be spiritual. Spirituality is about being with people, working towards your goals, but taking care that your every thought, word and action is through a spiritual consciousness.

3. Spirituality does not mean meditating for one hour to feel good, and then doing whatever is convenient during the day. It is about charging the being or soul in the morning, and then using that power in your personal and professional life the entire day.

4. Nurture the soul daily through meditation and spiritual study. Mindful eating practices in a meditative state of mind and ethical ways of working energize the soul. Spiritual health is the foundation of mental, emotional, physical and social health.

The past is history, so let it go. The future is a mystery, so let it come. The present is a gift – be truly in the present today and release all your fears (based on the past) and your worries (imagined futures) – this is the work of someone who truly wants to awaken, and break free from the anchors and burdens of dead yesterdays and speculative tomorrows.

Have you said to someone or has someone told you - 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘥, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦. Do you believe it is difficult or impossible to change a habit especially if it is a strong and old one? First we need to change our habit of saying I cannot change habits. Absolutely any unhealthy or uncomfortable habit can be changed. Let’s not say 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦… 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨… 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦… 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵…𝘚𝘰 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦. Anything we repeatedly do becomes our habit. Now by avoiding or changing a few times, the old habit gets finished. We need to constantly work on it even if we failed earlier. If we give up, it becomes stronger and our will power becomes weaker. Let’s confront our uncomfortable habits and ask ourselves – 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵? 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦? 𝘋𝘰 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦? Once our want to change is strong, changing becomes simple.

Is there anyone we know who has never changed a habit? Pretty sure there can be no-one. Each of us have created certain habits and changed them for some reason. The wrong belief that we cannot change habits makes negative habits stronger and blocks our transformation. Sit back and check how you control your habits, and your habits no longer control you. As you check repeatedly and create thoughts of what you want your reality to be, your will power increases. You let go of uncomfortable habits, dependencies and addictions. You will easily be able to choose what stays on your mind. There will be no habit that you cannot change. Not just small habits like drinking too much tea or coffee or watching TV while eating, you can get over deeper addictions. You will eventually become who you wish to be.

The ability to bend without breaking

True tolerance makes us flexible. And when we are flexible we can accommodate and adjust to anything and anyone and maintain well-being.

The ability to bend without breaking is linked to the amount of tolerance we develop.

When we are fully flexible, we become able to adjust to the most unexpected, negative and difficult situations and people.

More valuable than the things we give to each other are the gifts of virtues we pass on quietly to others through our selfless and noble actions.

These gifts are truly precious because they are imperishable and they multiply the more we share them.
