Game Up for Polo? Syngenta Faces Swiss Court Over Pesticide Poisoning in India
This article highlights what happens when wealthy corporations export hazardous pesticides to Global South countries, where weaker regulatory protections allow them to prioritise shareholder profits over public safety.
In 2017, the Yavatmal district of Maharashtra in India experienced a mass poisoning incident: hundreds of cotton farmers and farm workers suffered severe symptoms after spraying pesticides, with at least 23 deaths reported.
Official police records linked 96 poisoning cases—two fatal—directly to Syngenta’s insecticide Polo, with 36 cases involving only Polo and the rest involving it in combination with other pesticides.

The red cloth, used by the Matador, to maneuver the bull in the third and final stage of the bullfight, is called a Muleta. There are enough ways to respond to this painting that it is practically a political Rorschach test. So then…look at it and tell me what you see.

On July 6, BRICS member states signed the Joint Declaration of the 17th BRICS Summit, “Strengthening Global South Cooperation for More Inclusive and Sustainable Governance”, in Rio de Janeiro.
Similar to the game-changing Kazan Declaration, this year’s BRICS declaration serves as a manifesto for the Multipolar World Order. Containing 126 commitments, the document reads like a Bill of Rights against the global tyranny of the Collective West.

What else could it be? The agenda and the goons running it have to believe that the people of the world are not only useless eaters, but as about as sharp as a bag of marbles.
This is very sad, but there is no other explanation for it.
Remember when you were a young idiot, say around 17 or so (just assuming a few of you were like me at that age—for the most part, an adolescent, immature, idiot). And you might get involved in some cruel joke with a less fortunate fellow idiot in your class.

It is getting harder and harder to breathe. The world grows smaller as storms gather. All night the storm raged furiously, the lightning, thunder, rain, and wind locking us in and away from the world. No one expected it to be this bad. The dogs howled like wolves.
At most they said it would hinder us, and we, wanting to believe the experts who daily warn of something to fear – overripe bananas, marginal risks of severe weather, squirrel flu, spiders in tight pants, the wrong mascara, fear of falling in loose pants – accepted. Now we are huddled…...

In Part 1 we looked at the official account of the October 7th Hamas Attack. In addition to a rocket barrage on multiple targets and maritime assaults, an estimated 2,900 Hamas-aligned “terrorists” breached the Israeli “Iron Wall” defences surrounding Gaza in 29 separate locations simultaneously.

In Part 1 we looked at the official account of the October 7th Hamas Attack. In addition to a rocket barrage on multiple targets and maritime assaults, an estimated 2,900 Hamas-aligned “terrorists” breached the Israeli “Iron Wall” defences surrounding Gaza in 29 separate locations simultaneously.
The “terrorists” took out all the vital communication infrastructure and key Israeli strategic positions, thus leaving Israeli defences unable to respond for many hours. The attack surprised the Israeli intelligence community which was taken off guard by the scale and speed of the Hamas Attack.
