Like ethnic mythos, storytelling can be said to be a universal human pastime. It has always been a way to share cultural ideals and morals, but also to remember great deeds of important persons and place the current tribe members in context with tribal ancestors and their histories which came before.
Stories such as the Anglo-Saxon epic poem, Beowulf, continued to be told to new generations of the tribes who would become known as the English to remind them of their origins in Scandinavia and their cultural identity as Teutonic people.

Because these stories that were embedded with imagery from our mythos, which was itself intertwined with our ethnos, developed over thousands of years and only evolved very slowly as we ourselves evolved culturally, stories that became widespread and deeply spiritual took on a mythic nature.
A myth, rather than a simple story, carries with it gravitas and weight for how it has permeated the wider language family and holds deep meaning. The meaning could be a foundational spiritual understanding, such as cosmology and earth origins, or it could be the exploits of a deity who is especially powerful in the wider consciousness of the tribe.

The societal problems that Campbell recognized as a result of our lack of cultural mythos in the 1980s are even more present forty years later.
Campbell notes that our lack of myth-based rites of passage have left young people without guideposts for living. Because of this, they often do not know how to behave properly.
Bill Moyers asks if this is not related to the Evangelical calls to return to Christianity. Campbell retorts that these calls are a "terrible mistake" because that form of religion is only "vestigial" and it "doesnโt serve life" (p. 15).
This stood out to me because now, forty years on, we still have right-wingers ineptly declaring that the downfall of Western society is due to our walking away from Judeo-Christian religion.

Tolkien points out that our definitions are sorely lacking when we look to the dictionary to define "fairy story" โ or, since that term is missing all together, "fairytale." Tolkien laments the negative definitions found in the dictionary to describe a fairytale as something that is not true. He goes on to define it, although a definition is difficult to pin down.
Tolkien explains that the realm of "Faerie" is actually a state of being. It encompasses all manner of the supernatural, as well as the natural world, in addition to mortal humans โ when we are enchanted. He describes the fairy story as a "soup" originating in history that has been simmered with imagination.

Sneak peek of what I'm working on right now. Will go up this weekend.
Discussing scientific studies on how humans are naturally "homophilic" - meaning we prefer people who are similar to us. Studies on racial in-group preference noted among babies.
With disclaimer that this scientist is no racialist and would likely disavow my application of his work, discussing Rupert Sheldrake's work on morphic resonance - which is essentially a telepathic connection among closely related genetic groups (which very obviously is applicable to race although he doesn't go there).
Finishing up with an overview of ethnic-based kindreds and clans as our natural way of self-organizing.
Get this and the whole backlog subbing at one of these venues ๐

A rare Anglo-Saxon artefact discovered by a metal detectorist could unlock the secrets to some of Britain's most iconic archaeological treasures.
Experts believe the small copper-alloy object, found by Stephen Newbury at Lynsted in Kent, was used to make decorative metal foils for high-status military helmets.
The die stamp is the only one of its kind found in Britain and is very similar in size and design to panels on the famous Sutton Hoo helmet, according to analysis by the British Museum and Kent County Council (KCC).
This suggests helmets previously thought to be Scandinavian may have been made in England.

The agenda to press us all through a meat grinder as it churns us out as homogenized human sausages has been in effect since Saul of Tarsus set out with a mission to evangelize the ethnikos within the Roman Empire. The same agenda is as real now as then.
And, yet, it is in this environment that more and more ethnikos are eschewing the Abrahamic dogmas and looking for our deeper cultural connections. The good news is that revival and interest in cultural mythology is booming throughout the West as we speak. Doubling down on our ethnic identity may be the very best way we can preserve our heritage fight back against those who seek to destroy it.

When the weather gets hot, all the natural water sources which are already diminished due to human activity and habitat loss start to dry up. Bird baths are great and will get used. But if you put a shallow dish where non-flying animals can reach, youโll be delighted by the visitors you receive ๐ฅฐ

Itโs perplexing to continue to see the word โtribalismโ hurled as a negative and low-brow description of human behavior in mainstream media. Even in the right wing, we see pundits decrying โtribalismโ any time they see ethnic groups, ideological groups, or even political parties banding together, seemingly against logical reason, just to support their in-group.
In my view, well, duh. This is human nature. We are by nature tribal animals. Just as canines live in packs, birds gather in flocks, and fish swim in schools, we humans organize in tribes. We evolved not only to live this way but to think this way. We naturally gravitate towards organizing ourselves into a tribe.

On a recent visit to Prague for my fertility journey, I had a chat with a young Uber driver from Kazakhstan. Since Iโve always found Central Asia a fascinating cross-roads region, I was interested to ask him questions about his experience in Prague. He was perfectly polite and friendly, but frankly honest about his complete disinterest in Czech culture.
He explained that he immediately located the Kazakh community in Prague, eats Kazakh food, socializes with Kazakhs. He seemed proud to declare that he had not tried Czech food even once during his five years in Prague.
All I could think was โimagine if a white American or British person was living in any non-Western country and bragging about having zero interest in the host culture and never even tried the local cuisine. Weโd be skewered as ignorant xenophobes.โ

Kinship-based tribal organization was the de facto way in which humans structured our civilizations for tens of thousands of years. It is very clear that academia has been captured by an agenda which seeks to promote a patently false notion that ethnic diversity in social organization is normal for humans.
The truth is that anthropology, history, and archaeology all confirm that humans lived in, essentially, extended family networks from our earliest origins until very recent times.
In the case of Europeans, it was the transformation from Pagandom to Christendom which systematically broke down our kinship-based clan structures.

Alfons Mucha: Nationalist Art in Context
This piece controversially compares Alfons Mucha with Adolf Hitler, as the two had much more in common than is generally recognized, while also contrasting into polar opposite worldviews. It also discusses regional nationalist issues of their day, and how these two men shared similar motivations but severely divergent paths and worldviews.
Sections include:
- Introduction setting the stage for the historical context of the region at the time.
- Juxtaposing Two Painters
- Pan-Germanism, Pan-Slavicism, and Muchaโs Slav Epic

A marriage is more stable when compatibility is established due to shared cultural background and values.
In a tribal context, we Europeans, though not engaging in close-cousin marriages, would have been living in tight-knit clan groups whereby clan members would interact with members of the other allied clans at tribe gatherings and other occasions.
It would have been like a โsmall townโ type of environment where if everyone doesnโt know everyone, you can place people by asking who their kin are.

In a marriage where both parties come from the same cultural beliefs, they are naturally in harmony and unison regarding what beliefs and customs to pass on to their children.
Look at the state of marriage among Westerners today. How many marriages broke down due to disagreements about the bloody Covid vaccine!
Westerners are so fractured by differing ideologies and broken of any sense of solidarity around culture and ethnicity that most of us go into marriages without that binding glue which non-Westerners use to bind themselves together as strong-knit family and culture groups.

Traditionally the Kindred would birth the nuclear family. But, since our Kindreds have been taken from us, we have to do it backwards. If the nuclear family is going to be the seedling which grows into a Kindred, then the marriage partnership is the foundational kernel.
Heal yourself emotionally and psychologically. Really evaluate what traits you learned from your parents and other role models. Keep the good traits and chuck the bad out the window. Be self-aware. And if you are looking for a mate, date with intention.
Re-tribalization is possible. It starts with the Kindred. We find ourselves floundering without the support structure a Kindred offers, but it is within reach to found and build one in each of our lifetimes. And with strong kinship networks, we can work towards strong ethnic-based societies once again.
