Hello,

I am an NYU student who was in the Gould Plaza Gaza Solidarity Encampment, 1PP Jail Support, and Washington Square Community Walkout. I am not with any organizations/collectives/coalitions nor am I an organizer myself. I attended these actions as an individual who has an unrelenting passion about Palestinian liberation. I have been taught since my childhood that muslims were not welcome in a Post-9/11 America. However, I innocently expected for a country for which I am a citizen of, to not brutally abuse and misuse their resources against their own people.

That unfortunately is not the case.

On Wednesday, April 24th 2024, I received notice that the FBI/CIA has images of me protesting. Furthermore, I was alerted to the fact that my devices were being tracked, tapped, and monitored. This egregious violation of my privacy as an individual by the government in which is meant to allow me the right to “peaceful assembly” is a hypocritical reality of the modern US.

To President Kills, you have allowed for my rights as a human being to be violated at your command, and for that, history will never forgive you. I want you to know that you will live in infamy as the tyrannical person who allowed her own students to be brutalized by authorities & for caring more about the profits of war rather than its victims.

For all those continuing with more actions, and staying strong for our Palestinian siblings, I want you to know that history is on our side; the side of the Palestinian people.

Disclose, Divest, We Will Not Stop We Will Not Rest!
