Minimum profit margin is live!
Recently the Nym node operator community was voted to implement a minimum profit margin of 20% for all Nym nodes. This change went live on the smart contract level last night. Every node below this value will be switched to 20% profit margin automatically, during the first rewarding event of the node.

The new parameters are:
Minimum Profit Margin: 20%
Maximum Profit Margin: 50%
Minimum Operators Cost: 0 NYM
Maximum Operators Cost: 1000 NYM
These values are not final and may change in the future via off-chain governance!

Following last week’s Nym Dispatch on the recent banning of X/Twitter in Brazil, as well as the use of VPNs to access the platform, Nym reached out to one of our beloved and dedicated Squads on the ground in Brazil, TupiNymQuim, to get their response and perspective.
The issue is simple: if VPNs did what they were supposed to do, governments wouldn’t know which sites you access. But things aren’t so simple...
