as a business major who is learning about capitalism essentially in the belly of the beast, i have never felt more anticapitalistic....

we're watching a movie about amazon right now during class about contemporary management and im furious

complete abandonment of privacy, collaboration with law enforcement, unethical treatment of employees, hoarding resources and big data, tax evasion, monopolistic behavior, control of media, lobbying.... and im sure that it's not all.

so basically, i got a new job, and so far its going alright, but i came across a small lil problem.

i cant really afford health care and necessary things for my health. im talking about checkups, blood tests and other procedures i have to go through. im dealing with chronic pain, hormonal issues, and god knows what else. ill receive my first pay check next month, but right now i have to visit several doctors to keep going. my meds cost $80 per two weeks and without them i can't really survive.

so if yall still can and want to donate a lil, here's an original post. i'll appreciate it immensely and i'm grateful for everyone who showed some support before.

basically, i feel shitty for the fact that it stopped being a safe place for so many devoted followers who've been here from the start. i feel shitty every time there are pointless arguments. i feel shitty every time people dont reciprocate or listen when i ask them to understand my values and my vision of this being a place for everyone who's struggling.

i started to receive hate for being a shitty admin, for abusing my authority, my power. and to be honest, i dont think i deserve that. it seems like some people just refuse to listen to me when i say that there are certain rules of being in this community.

i might reopen the chat and the comments after the dust settles, but i hate it here right now.
