i’ll be doing a commentary on eurovision finale today :)

disclaimer: i’ve heard of the scandals surrounding this year’s event. i do not agree with Israeli’s participation in this, however, i also disagree with the bullying and the hate of the artist. i’ll keep the comments about this country’s performance to the minimum. the reason why i’m going to watch eurovision is because it has cultural significance (i’ve been watching it since i was a kid), and my friends and i have a tradition of watching it together. i do not ignore the politics, but let’s not argue about this and make it fun for everyone in the comments 🥺

alright, after hearing y’all out, i decided it would be very hypocritical of me to say that i support people of different minorities and believe in equality, that i do not support any violence and then just outright turn a blind eye on what’s been going on with Israel and this year of eurovision specifically.
i’m sorry and i hope y’all don’t hate me for this 😞
