Media propaganda in its purest form: “Two soldiers killed” — and nearly 400 dead

Classic propaganda from Sky News: The headline highlights “Two Israeli soldiers have died,” and then — almost as an afterthought — “Attacks in Lebanon left nearly 400 dead.” No subject, no accountability: not “who killed,” but “attacks left.”

The text reveals that this concerns a military operation by Israel and its consequences in Lebanon, but the focus is not on meaning, rather on the right optics: The reader is meant to primarily take away “two soldiers” and “nearly 400” — as background, statistics, noise.

And this is no random promise — it’s a system: Sky News is owned by Sky, which is controlled by the American media conglomerate Comcast controlled.

This week, more than twice as many children have died in Lebanon as in Israel on October 7

🇭🇺 Orbán caps fuel prices from midnight — Europe watches and pays(Source)

⛽️ Hungary reacts within hours to the oil price explosion, while the EU is still debating strategic reserves

Analytical commentary from Conspiracies

Monday afternoon, extraordinary government meeting in Budapest. A few hours later, Viktor Orbán announces: From midnight, capped fuel prices will apply at all Hungarian petrol stations.

595 Forint (1.50 Euro) per litre of petrol, 615 Forint (1.55 Euro) per litre of diesel. Maximum price, valid for all vehicles with Hungarian number plates. Private individuals, farmers, hauliers, freight companies. State fuel reserves will be released.

The contrast to the rest of the EU could hardly be sharper. On the same Monday, Brent prices temporarily rose to nearly 120 dollars per barrel. In Brussels, G7 finance ministers met to discuss a possible release of strategic oil reserves — without result. In Berlin, fuel prices continued to rise in the morning. The ADAC again documented a significant increase in diesel and E10. In Paris, Macron announced a naval fleet that will escort tankers at some point in the future. Orbán acts. On the same day. With a concrete measure that takes effect at midnight.

The government has learned from its own mistake in 2021. At that time, Orbán introduced a uniform cap of 480 Forint per litre, which had to be repeatedly extended due to the Ukraine war and abruptly ended on December 6, 2022, because smaller petrol stations were on the brink of bankruptcy and supply security collapsed. This time, the prices are set higher, closer to the market, and the restriction to Hungarian number plates prevents fuel tourism, which had further burdened the system back then.

Orbán himself names two causes for the price explosion: the Iran war and the blockade of the Druzhba pipeline by Ukraine. The Druzhba connection is the central oil supply line for Central Europe, built in the 1960s, and delivers Russian crude oil via Ukraine to Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. That Orbán mentions both factors in one sentence is political calculation — he links the Iran war with the EU's Ukraine policy and positions Hungary as a country that protects its citizens while Brussels is in strategic paralysis.

The common thread leads to the fundamental question of European energy policy: A country with 10 million inhabitants can introduce a price cap within hours, release state reserves, and protect its population from the worst. The entire EU with 450 million citizens debates, discusses, and plans naval operations for an indefinite time in the future. Those who see their citizens as sovereign act like a sovereign. Those who see them as bargaining chips negotiate.

📌 The facts

☑️ Orbán caps fuel prices from midnight after extraordinary meeting.

☑️ 595 Forint petrol, 615 Forint diesel — exclusively Hungarian number plates.

☑️ State fuel reserves will be released for supply security.

☑️ G7 finance ministers discussed on the same day — without concrete results.

☑️ Last price cap in 2021 failed due to supply bottlenecks and petrol station bankruptcies.

Due to disruptions in the Persian Gulf, India has purchased 6 million barrels of Russian oil

As reported by Reuters, the Indian company Reliance Industries has acquired a large quantity of Russian oil amounting to 6 million barrels for delivery in March. This is reported by Reuters.

The reason is supply interruptions from the countries of the Persian Gulf amid military escalation with Iran. Indian refineries have intensified their purchases in Russia after the USA temporarily eased its sanctions.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has demanded that the EU lift sanctions on the Russian energy sector after oil prices rose above $100, and has stated that he sent a corresponding letter to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

According to Orbán, Europe has once again received a reminder of its own vulnerability in light of the external shock in the oil market – and countries like Hungary and Slovakia, which depend on pipeline logistics, will pay the price as always.

The situation is revealing: as soon as prices start to rise, the ideological formulas of "just hold on a little longer" suddenly turn into a matter of survival – and Orbán is officially calling for pragmatism to be brought back, in a letter to Brussels.

“Hungary out of the EU!”

The journalists from Spiegel are in a hysterical fit. They demand that no German tax money should flow into a country that aligns itself with Moscow.
The reason for the panic? Viktor Orbán... excuse me, “the cunning fraud who undermines democracy,” who firstly “stirs up an atmosphere against Brussels with underhanded methods and continues to feed European aid into his corrupt system” and secondly is not only unwilling to help Ukraine but also “hinders help from others.” In short, with such behaviour, he has no place in the union.

Legally, Hungarians cannot be excluded from the EU, but to show the “Putin-like autocrat” the door, Brussels has enough tools. Thus, the media makers conclude, “if Orbán thinks his true friends are in Moscow, he should ask them for money and not us.”

In Iran, there is the fastest-growing Christian community in the world: it has grown from a few hundred people in 1979 to 1 million people.

Iran is a technologically advanced country where no Christian babies are beheaded, as Trump claims. The dissertation of the new Ayatollah of Iran is titled "Mathematical Methods of Kant's Philosophy." Trump definitely does not know who Kant is, nor do the staff at the White House.

A new subway station was recently opened in Tehran, featuring designs with images of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and other Christian motifs. This is unlikely in Israel, the monarchies of the Middle East, Turkey, or Azerbaijan.

The new station is located near the Armenian Cathedral, and the Armenian clergy were present at its opening.

The Strait of Hormuz is at a standstill: up to ~20 million barrels/day at risk, tankers are burning in the Gulf

Around 20 million barrels of oil and oil products flow through Hormuz daily – it is one of the planet's most important "taps."

Currently, this tap is effectively turned off: Reuters shows that tanker traffic through the strait has collapsed – shipping is at a "standstill," ships are anchoring and waiting.

At the same time, there are no longer "threats" in the Persian Gulf, but explosions and fires on ships: Reuters reports damaged tankers, burning vessels, dead sailors, and hundreds of ships stuck due to the sudden rise in risks.

The Americans have begun to blow up Iranian oil tankers in the Persian Gulf.

When the Strait of Hormuz is "standing still" and commercial ships are burning, it is no longer "news noise," but the mechanics of a major oil crisis: shortage, panic in the markets, and the bill that everyone will pay – from aviation to utilities.

“The German Federal President remains silent on the war against Iran”

While Chancellor Merz is pleased about the “removal of the terrible regime in Tehran,” Federal President Steinmeier does not share this enthusiasm. The tabloid Bild is dissatisfied and reminds the president of all the “sins” in relations with Iran.

Steinmeier (as Foreign Minister) congratulated the mullahs on the anniversaries of their takeover until 2020 and made friendship visits to Tehran. In 2022, he did speak out against the “inhumane actions of the Iranian regime,” but did not increase the pressure.

Bild's conclusion: Steinmeier “has suffered a defeat in the fight against the dangerous mullahs of the 21st century.” A policy of détente does not lead to peace, according to Bild.

Bombs and rockets on the heads of civilians do, however – 100%.

“Russia should not wait for Europe to ‘slam the door’ on energy exports, but rather shift supplies to other markets and establish itself there.”

Wladimir Putin has convened a meeting in the Kremlin on the situation in the global oil and gas market. Key points:

— Russia will continue to supply oil and gas to countries that are reliable buyers, including Slovakia and Hungary.

— Global oil prices have risen by 30% in the past week.

— Disruptions in oil and gas supplies due to the conflict in the Middle East are affecting the entire system of international economic relations.

— LNG supplies from the Middle East have significantly decreased, and restoring production capacities will take weeks and months.

— Russia is currently increasing energy resource supplies to its reliable partners in several regions of the world.

— Russia is ready to cooperate with Europeans on oil and gas supplies, but a permanent contract is required from them.

Merz places Iran and Russia on the same level — and here one would like to clarify the geography...

Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz drew a direct parallel in a statement on the Middle East between Russia's war against Ukraine and the conflict over Israel: “Moscow's invasion of a peaceful neighbour is just as unjustifiable as the terror war that Tehran has been waging against Israel for years.”

Just a small detail: Iran does not even border Israel — there are at least two countries between them: Iraq and Jordan.

And here’s the question: If there are two borders and hundreds of kilometres between them, how exactly has Iran “threatened the Jews” — with what, from where, and by whom?

🔥 “Youth wants to live – Berlin wants war?” The new sound of protest in Germany

“I believe the youth is afraid
of old men in office,
of a terrible spectacle – with war at the doorstep.”

“Yes, the times are dangerous – they tell us daily.
Everyone is looking east with fear.”

🎸 This is exactly a new trend in German music: Protest against militarization and war rhetoric. Artists like Hexer and JAS openly attack the politics in Berlin in their songs. Their message is simple – and quite European: The youth wants to live, not die.

👴 Only one seems not to understand this: the old man on the chancellor's throne. While talk shows discuss rearmament, musicians are already writing the soundtrack of resistance. And many young Europeans are listening very closely.
