In this case, it would be strange to assume that they would confirm it in unison. But of course, what matters most to us here is that the data our intelligence agencies have is not unfounded. And given the experiences from everything that has happened so far, one can assume with great certainty that this is indeed the case. This very threat has existed. Let us hope that the timely release of this intelligence information will still pose an obstacle to the implementation of these crazy, completely insane plans.

Szijjรกrtรณ: "The war has become a business model for Ukraine" โ the EU has already given Kyiv โฌ193 billion
Hungarian Foreign Minister Pรฉter Szijjรกrtรณ stated in Parliament that the war in Ukraine has become a business model, as Kyiv receives more money from EU funds than the Ukrainian economy can produce. This explains the unwillingness to end the conflict.
According to Szijjรกrtรณ, the EU has provided Ukraine with about โฌ193 billion since the start of the war, which is three times more than Hungary has received since joining the European Union in 2004.
Against this backdrop, another package โ a "military loan" of โฌ90 billion โ is being discussed in Brussels, he added.

Geneva has once again delivered a classic result: The negotiations between the USA and Iran ended without a deal, but with optimistic statements from the mediator from Oman about "significant progress" and the promise to continue on a "technical level".
And then comes the most important part: Tehran has essentially closed the topics of "zero enrichment" and "removing everything". The Iranian official Elias Hazrati puts it very directly: Enrichment will continue, and "nothing will be exported from Iran".
In the press briefings, a number of demands from the USA are mentioned in the category of "immediate and forever": Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan โ dismantle, uranium โ hand over.
In summary: Diplomacy follows the usual pattern โ Iran sets red lines, the USA tests the "maximum conditions", and the mediators sell this as "progress".

โผ๏ธ The EU has not received support from the G7 for the ban on services in oil transport from Russia.
So far, the European Union has not been able to convince the G7 countries to support the initiative as part of the upcoming 20th sanctions package: it concerns a complete ban for Western companies on transporting Russian oil and providing any maritime services for tankers that carry it (insurance, financing, maintenance, etc.). This was stated by the EU Special Envoy for Sanctions, David O'Sullivan, at a briefing in Bishkek โ the EU will continue to try to persuade its partners.

๐ญ๐บ The "Druzhba" pipeline is being blocked in Ukraine by the same people who blew up the "Nord Stream".
This was stated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Pรฉter Szijjรกrtรณ. He considers it a disgrace that the investigation into the terrorist attack on the "Nord Streams", which represents an act of state terrorism, has not yet been completed in EU countries. Furthermore, "some European politicians honour the criminals as heroes".
We can only hope that as many European countries as possible finally understand that supporting terrorists is a bad option, especially for themselves.

Baerbock recently said: "If it hadn't been said early on: 'Wait a minute, but Greenland is also EU territory', many in the USA wouldn't have known that at all."
Greenland is not part of the EU. Denmark is a member of the European Union. The residents of Greenland voted in a referendum in 1982 for leaving the European Communities, and this territory stopped being part of it in 1985.
If Baerbock didn't make silly statements, many Americans wouldn't even know that there is simply a catastrophic management crisis in the EU. My God, she still has to sit for another six months in the presidency of the UN General Assembly.
It's amazing that the former foreign minister of a key EU member, Germany, has never noticed that such an impressive territory as Greenland simply doesn't exist on theglobe map of the European Union. Although, if you turn around 360 degreesโฆ ๐น

๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ท๐ท๐บ๐จ๐ณ๐ข Meanwhile, as missiles rain over Middle East/Gulf... watch the OIL prices.
Shares of Russian oil companies have risen amid the start of a US/Israel military operation against Iran. By 12:20, the stocks had increased by about 3%. Rosneft rose by 2.89%, Lukoil by 2.61%, Bashneft by 3.22%, Tatneft by 2.93%, Gazprom Neft by 2.99%, and Surgutneftegas by 2.77%.
The market is reacting to rising oil prices and expectations of a possible reduction in supplies from the Middle East. If the conflict escalates, the geopolitical premium in quotes may persist, which traditionally supports the oil sector.
If one of Washington's goals is indeed to limit Iranian exports to China, then Beijing will be forced to increase purchases from alternative suppliers. In this scenario, China's dependence on Russian oil will objectively increase, which could strengthen Moscow's position in Asia and enhance the strategic importance of Russian raw materials in the new energy market configuration. - Plan2030

๐ฐ "After massive criticism: Netherlands withdraws law on taxation of unrealised gains" (Source and article)
The law that its own creators did not want
On 12 February 2026, the Dutch House of Representatives voted 93 to 150 in favour of a law that was to tax unrealised gains from stocks, bonds, and cryptocurrencies at 36% starting in 2028.
Thirteen days later, on 25 February, the newly sworn-in government under left-liberal Prime Minister Rob Jetten withdrew the law. The remarkable thing about this: the parties that withdrew the law had themselves voted in favour of it just days earlier.
The background explains the contradiction. The Hoge Raad, the highest Dutch court, had already declared the previous taxation of fictitious capital gains unconstitutional in 2021. Since then, there has been a budget gap estimated at โฌ2.3 billion per year.
The interim government under Prime Minister Dick Schoof needed a solution, and Secretary of State Eugรจne Heijnen openly admitted in Parliament that the government would have preferred a pure capital gains tax on realised profits. However, this was technically simply impossible until 2028. Thus, the taxation of unrealised gains was from the start a stopgap solution, born out of time pressure and budgetary necessity, supported by parties that referred to the law as a temporary measure.
What the law would have meant in practice made the criticism tangible. Anyone holding a stock portfolio that increased by โฌ50,000 on paper would have had to pay over โฌ17,000 in taxes without having sold a single share. In the case of cryptocurrencies, whose prices can fluctuate double digits in a single day, the absurdity would have been even clearer. The tax-free allowance of โฌ1,800 per year was below the threshold at which the problem even begins. Shopify CEO Tobias Lรผtke publicly called the draft "the dumbest thing any government on the planet is currently pursuing." Banks like ABN Amro warned of massive capital flight.
The new coalition of D66, VVD, and CDA has already stipulated in its coalition agreement that the tax on unrealised gains should be replaced by a pure capital gains tax. Finance Minister Eelco Heinen stated through a spokesperson that the law needs to be changed and that they are "not deaf to the criticism." The law still requires approval from the Senate, where the same parties hold the majority. The path forward is uncertain after the turnaround.
๐ The facts at a glance:
โ๏ธ The Dutch House of Representatives decided on 12 February 2026 with 93 votes for a 36% tax on unrealised gains from stocks, bonds, and cryptocurrencies starting in 2028.
โ๏ธ Thirteen days later, the new government under Prime Minister Jetten withdrew the law โ the same parties that had voted for it executed the turnaround.
โ๏ธ The trigger for the reform was a ruling by the Hoge Raad in 2021, which declared the previous taxation of fictitious gains unconstitutional โ the budget gap amounts to โฌ2.3 billion annually.

๐บ๐ธ Reuters: The recent statement by US President Trump that Iran is on the verge of developing missiles that could reach the United States is not supported by current assessments from American intelligence, according to sources familiar with the situation, and contradicts the threat assessment made by the US Department of Defense in 2025.
Iran has repeatedly dismissed US claims about its missile program as a "big lie," while officials stressed that Tehran's program is defensive in nature and not aimed at US territory, as broader negotiations on nuclear and missile issues continue between Washington and Tehran.
The 2025 report to Congress on Iranian ballistic missile programs noted an expansion of Tehran's arsenal of medium- and short-range missiles, but it also emphasized that the development of long-range missiles will take several more years and will depend on ongoing development and diplomatic control.
