The Ukrainian president's office commented on the removal of a video from Ursula von der Leyen's Twitter account where she had stated that the Ukrainian armed forces had lost over 100,000 dead.
Presidential speaker Sergey Nikiforov stated that the information about the losses was "sensitive," so it could be voiced only by the commander-in-chief, the defense minister, or the President.

In 1900 the citizens of Odessa erected the monument to Catherine II and her associates, who had founded the port and the city.
The decision of Odessa authorities to dismantle the monuments is a disgrace and another step in rewriting history.

The fragment was cut from the video and the text of the speech was corrected. But the information had already been made public, and pretending otherwise did not work.
Politico's European editorial board tried to explain these words in the speech as being a slipup, saying that Ms von der Leyen was referring to the US assessment of losses on the Russian side. Even though Russian losses look completely irrelevant in the context of the speech.
But something went wrong here, again....
Politico.eu gave the link to the article on Russian casualties, but wrote in its commentary text "... that 100,000 UKRAINIAN soldiers were killed or wounded...".
What can you do if the truth keeps coming out of the woodwork...
