A Brazilian university study has concluded that HAARP — the High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program — can potentially trigger earthquakes, cyclones, and strong local heating.

The research, conducted by the Universidade Federal do Maranhão, found that modulated heating of the ionosphere using high-frequency waves can generate extremely low-frequency waves capable of affecting weather patterns and seismic activity.

HAARP has been the subject of conspiracy theories for decades.

Critics have long claimed the U.S. government uses it for weather manipulation, mind control, and even earthquake generation.

The program has consistently denied these claims, stating that its research focuses on studying the ionosphere for communication and navigation purposes.

This new study does not prove that HAARP is currently being used for climate manipulation.

But it does suggest that the mechanism for such manipulation is theoretically possible.
