Data is derived from a combination of sources within our systems, as well as a significant amount of analyzed on-chain data from Polygon.
We'll be releasing the full dashboard with significantly more NFT Worlds metrics soon, including $WRLD transaction data, historical playtime data and much more.
tldr; NFT Worlds is growing fast and doesn't seem to care about a bear or bull market 🤷♂️

Avatars Reveal - Soon!
We're ahead of schedule for the Avatars reveal. We expect avatars to reveal this weekend!
We've attached a few previews of avatars to this announcement. Every avatar is fully animated. Yes, all 15,000.
There are 500+ unique individual traits across avatars, tons of outfits, avatar types, and much much more. Yes, there are ultra special, unique 1 of 1's too!
Genesis Avatars haven't minted out yet - so we'll be doing a rolling reveal. Reveal data will be served from a centralized API until all Avatars have finally been minted out, at that point metadata will be switched to a typical IPFS DAG for serving.
This basically means that unminted avatars will reveal immediately when minted, but trait sniping unminted avatars won't be possible because the rolling reveal API won't serve the metadata until the corresponding Avatar ID has been minted.

Unique Players Online - Self explanatory, how many players online
Unique Worlds Online - Number of playable worlds live now
Total $WRLD Transacted (Polygon) - How much $WRLD has changed hands on Polygon (Payouts, payments, transfers, etc)
Total Unique $WRLD Transfers (Polygon) - How many unique individual transfers of $WRLD have occurred on Polygon.
New Players Over Time - How many new unique players joined NFT Worlds in each time bucket on the graph, also shows how many of those total players were first time crypto users who based on a handful of conditions we have set, had never previously engaged with crypto.
Total Players Over Time - An aggregate chart of total player growth over time, show both total new players and new players we believe had never previously engaged with crypto.

We're shooting to release .wrld name service registration sometime next week.
NFT World holders will have the ability to register 1 .wrld name for free per world they hold before name registration opens up to anyone else.
After 48 hours from world holders having access to name registration, Genesis Avatars and Gray Boys holders will be able to register 1 .wrld name for free per gray boy or genesis avatar they hold.
48 hours later, public name registration will open up and be available to everyone. Public .wrld name registration will start at 500 $WRLD per year registered. Registration attempts by wallets that don't have enough $WRLD will automatically swap held eth to $wrld through the swap pool to bolster pool activity.
$WRLD generated through .wrld name registration will be locked up for an extended period of time.
This is phase 1 of implementing perpetual sinks that yield compounding value to the overall NFT Worlds ecosystem.
P2E faucet access for NFT World projects will release next.
We're moving back into the habit of giving more consistent public updates again regardless of the market state. We are still moving at the same speed internally.

I've attached a brief introduction to the World Name Service (.wrld names) that briefly touches on how they're different than ENS names, and what their purpose is.
The WRLD (World) Name Service (WNS) is a distributed, open, and extensible cross-metaverse identity system. We recognize the future will have many different metaverses players engage in. WNS aims to be the single-identity-provider (SIP) for player identities across all metaverses.
WNS' job is to provide the decentralized infrastructure for any metaverse or blockchain game to assign profiles, stats, progress, data, achievements and more to a single player identity through their .wrld name regardless of the EVM (Ethereum virtual machine) based chain used.
Along with providing identity infrastructure for any metaverse or blockchain based game to build on top of, WNS is also built to support many of the same functionalities as ENS, but cross-chain. Such as mapping .wrld names to Ethereum or equivalent chain addresses.
The primary name registry for WNS names resides on the Ethereum network. However, name, record and other feature based resolvers are built to support operation and syncing across many EVM based chains.
