Yesterday I made a post on X claiming that under all my possible circumstances, I decide to do whatever is in my powers to deny the epidural while giving birth to my children.
Some big accounts went spastic (women, of course). Completely derranged, defending their use of drugs perhaps in unjustified cases. Why do I say this? Because I know for a fact not all births end up in tragedy or complications and I am tired of seeing women, like me, with positive birth experiences, being cancelled because ''they did not go through it''. It is like this corner of the internet needs to mourn strangers for having had the fate of suffering when giving birth.
Another thing is that many of these situations COULD be prevented via proper education, information and support if our health systems would not be so deficient.
But we must stop. We must stop this madness. My intention is to inform and educate and encourage a fertility healing journey in my fellow, beloved European people (Australian, South African, White American, etc.).
And I noticed how incredibly defensive and offended women become around the topic and I must say this is not a normal behaviour nor something to be encouraged.
So, ever since yesterday I have been working on putting together a proper research article regarding this. How to have a Blissful Birth Experience and how to increase your chances at preventing an epidural use.
Send this to your female friends, sisters, wives, etc. 🙂 I am very confident this information is not given at any consultation with any obgyn.
